Ellagista's Macarons and Boba — Restaurant in Moscow

DO NOT GET DRINKS HERE!!!! i ordered the peach boba drink and it was RANCID. with one sip it was THICK and SLIMY and the boba was HARD and OLD. the photos of the drink after only a 15 min drive will tell you all you need to know. the drink is CURDLED and DISGUSTING. i don’t understand how this is even serve-able. DO NOT GET DRINKS HERE THEY WILL BE CURDLED. i worked at a boba shop for years, so i know just how easy everything is to make. i have no idea how you can mess simple drinks up this bad. especially the boba. you just boil it like spaghetti and add sugar and water to it. the boba that they serve tastes like it is days old. boba should not be kept for more than four hours because it hardens quickly. this is disgusting and a disgrace to call it boba.

edit: the main issue is obviously the curdling of the drink, and how the drink was thick immediately, not the boba (even though the boba is not good at all). the boba doesn’t even matter if you cant get to it because the drink has gone bad. I will not take the risk of drinking something...

I went here with my dad during the summer and it was amazing! We really enjoyed the boba, and we are quite fans of boba in general. The pearls are a different, more jelly-like texture, but I love it! Their little place in the mall is sooo cute and the people were really patient and nice, they let us both get almond milk too. Since school started in the fall, I have been ordering boba for my bf and I. We were getting popos till a couple months ago, then I remembered this place! We live in Pullman and doordash it, so if we get a creamy or iced drink it melts a bit. That is expected for how long it takes. Since our switch, I have been paying less overall and we both really like the pearl texture! Sometimes popos can be gritty or hard, but Ellagista's is always soft and jelly, different, but tasty! I highly recommend Ellagista's Boba! My favorite drink is the peach pie boba...

the place overall is nice. the drinks are great, espcially since there are not many places where you can get boba in moscow. the only reason i am giving 4 stars, and not 5, is because of the service. one day, i was just ordering a simple mango creme boba (recommended!). i was using credit card, so i used the store's digital payment device. when the screen asked for a tip, that's when the lady working there added a five dollar tip. by herself. without even asking. it was not a good experience. the same scenario kept happening quite a few times, which is the reason why i now use cash instead of credit card. otherwise, would...
