Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Moultrie

It takes really, really poor service for me to rate an establishment a "1" star...and this Applebee's location might possibly THE worst service that we have ever received...anywhere.

My wife and I were traveling through and staying at a hotel really close by on a Saturday night and decided to hit up one of our favorite food places... Applebee's. Unfortunately, the service here was so poor that it will be hard for me to even enter another location and not be reminded of the terrible service here.

The Host was awesome and the bartender were awesome...our server took our orders, brought out our food and drinks...and then seemed to have disappeared into some void from which there was no return.

We had started eating our food and finished our drinks, waited for the server to get refills...and waited...and waited...25 minutes passed and still no return by the server. Neither my wife or I finished our food as we were waiting for new drinks and we had wanted to order more rounds while watching football for the evening as well.

We finally went to the bar and asked the bartender if we could get our check and pay because we decided that the service was definitely not worth the wait. I would completely understand if the place had been busy, but there were maybe 15 tables total in the entire place with patrons...maybe.

We always tip...but this is the first time that we seriously discussed not tipping due to the terrible service (we still tipped) and could not believe that we seemed to have lost our server! My wife and I explained the situation to the bartender who was very apologetic. Unfortunately, this experience has definitely changed my opinion of one of our favorite establishments and we will likely avoid eating at any Applebee's on this trip as this experience was just that bad.

At least our Applebee's back at home still has good service...but this out of state trip experience was absolutely...

Well where to start... Can't believe I'm just now writing this review. We moved from Tampa Florida here to Moultrie, we used to eat Applebees about twice a month, sometimes more down there we got 5 kids so you already know the bill was a substantial 200$ easy. When we moved here this was the first food establishment we went to. We ordered our food, the waitress brought our drinks, and that's the start of why this Applebees in Moultrie will never get any of our money. No sooner did the waitress set the drinks down she says "I don't mean to rush or anything but I have to go pick up my kid from the babysitter, can you go ahead and tip me please..." I mean how could an establishment like this with this big of a name be run this way. I brought it up to the manager, and he assured me he would talk to her the following day, don't know if he did but I don't believe so because this was almost 4 years ago, and if people are still reviewing that the waitresses are rude, then obviously not, well that and the simple fact that the owner has only asked one out of all the negative reviews to get back with them... Applebees corporate should be involved, or just shut this one down I'm tired of driving to different counties to eat there. It's sad to have a nice family orientated restraunt here in Moultrie, and to have it run this way. My Applebees lovers from Florida, steer clear of this one you only have about 40 more minutes until you're at the next one. If you're in one of these motels or hotels here, take a relaxing site seeing drive 40 more minutes away and eat at...

The service sucked when we first got there we seated our selves because the waiter and waitress was sitting at a table talking and on their phones whatching us sit ourselves down about 15 mins later our waiter came over to the table and asked if we was ready to order not ever looking at a menu he asked if we needed to see menus so we ordered food they brought out one dinner ten minutes later another ten more minutes go by another the last one about 5 mins went by my burger came out let me tell y’all this that place don’t have anything on McDonald’s right now by the time we all was done chocking down what we could we desired to leave so another 15 minutes go by waiting on that dam lazy waiter to come take my money hell as bad as it was I really wanted to just dash but the dine part wasn’t worth even going there trust me skip Applebees in Moultrie Georgia you will be doing yourself a huge favor go down the road to long horn you will enjoy it better for the same amount of money or just go to McDonald’s I would give McDonald’s a way better rating than Applebees .
