Friday after-work date night out for a dinner at Carbone’s in Mound. Had a couple beers and ordered the Chicken Caprese salad sandwich & Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap. Both came with ridged potato chips and a pickle wedge. Dinner was fresh and very tasty on the wrap order, with chopped chicken breast and bacon with ranch dressing and lettuce and tomato. You can’t lose there. It was quite good and a LOT of food. The Chicken Caprese sandwich was well presented; had tomato, mozzarella, and balsamic vinegar on Ciabatta bread- but no basil! Overall the sandwich was reported to be bland tasting and it was felt it needed a bit of a “kick” in our humble opinion. But, as usual, we ate all of our meals right up. We enjoyed the atmosphere and I saw an old friend. We walked out to an outside covered and overhead-heated patio for some air while we finished our drinks. Overall a great evening with fine food and drink. Thanks Carbone’s in Mound, and we’ll surely be back.

Most kinds of art are for viewing. You can see and admire, maybe touch. But this kind is my favorite. It's art-ichoke dip, and you get to eat this masterpiece ;) Spinach Artichoke Dip to start, and The Super Pizza to finish at Carbone's in Mound This dip took us on a trip. The hearty 'chokes went so well with the thick, gooey, three-cheese blend. I'd have liked some bread maybe, but the chips were fine if a spoon was used. The Super comes with double crust -- I don't know what that totally means, but it held up well to the heavily applied toppings. It was hard to cut through but I didn't complain too much. The flavors though... woah. Salami, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, a bunch of vegetables, garlic, and extra cheese, of course. This pizza is for the adventurous eaters who want to try everything! Carbone's cleans up and takes care of business once again. Great place for the fam, a group, or even a date

Lasagne is dry. 5 layers of noodles before a thin layer cheese and meat. Reply: So management claims they make each pan the same. Clearly this level of quality would be ideal, but not realistic in this type of setting. I took the photo to prove I took the lasagna apart to see what the issue was. I clearly counted 5 layers of nothing but noodle before anything resembling meat or cheese. The top did have some sauce and stuff on it. I take offense to being called a liar though. Your low wage employees are clearly slacking and your simply covering for them. Was at 2 stars, now going to 1 since they don't think their customers concerns are legit. A simple apology and maybe a "we'll look into it" would have been fine.

Service was terrible ! My Mother and Father took me and my Daughter and my sister out for my Birthday. We get in and seated immediately. We are greeted promptly order drinks get them fairly quickly. But then have to wait to order. We finally after about ten minutes of waiting order apps . They come out fast enough. So we order our food right away but have to ask to see a kids menu for my two year old daughter. So we order a small pepperoni pizza for my mother a large sausage mushroom onion pizza for my father and I Spaghetti for my sister and chicken strips for my daughter. And the we wait and wait and wait after about 30 mins my daughter's food comes out. After another 30 minutes so going on a hour since we odered our first pizza comes out a large pepperoni 15 minutes later out second pizza comes out a small sausage mushroom and onion. But no Spaghetti after another 10 minutes while the rest are all eating my sister tracks down the waiter and ask about her spaghetti and he looks at her funny goes in the kitchen comes out and says it had not even been started yet so this point we are going on an hour and twenty five minutes she decided to have them not make the Spaghetti. My poor sister sat their watched us all eat while she got nothing. The worst part is while we were not charged for her Spaghetti we got ABSOLUTELY no apology for the waiter and nothing was done about the screwed up order and terrible service. Terrible experience will definitely think twice...

Before posting I was scrolling through a few reviews. One really caught my eye because she said the waitress kept touching her husbands arm..we were there Saturday night, the 28th around 630-7pm. Our waitress that was mid thirties and had brown hair, also touched my husbands arm. It was done quickly while in passing as she said “I’ll be right with you” but I basically wanted to punch her. I kept waiting for it to happen again and she’s lucky it did not because I don’t mind making a scene if I need to. Please speak to your staff and tell them to keep hands to themselves.

Ok onto the other part of my review and I wish I could say it got better. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a “double” pizza because I made it clear I really wasn’t crazy about thin crust. Well I wish the waitress then would have said we wouldn’t care for the double. It looked tasted and acted exactly like a thin. Had I have known I would have waited for the deep dish/pan. The crust was hard and there was barely any sauce. I had two small pieces and called it good. The food also took a VERY long time. Yes it was Saturday night but wow, we eat out a lot on Saturday evenings; this wasn’t typical. Mozzarella sticks were good, beer selection good, we might be back to try the pasta but it would be nice if they would just offer a hand tossed traditional pizza. If we do a second try and the wait is as long or we get a waitress that thinks it’s appropriate to touch my husband we...

Went in this past Saturday night (2/24/24) with my family of 4 (including 2 small children). We were seated around 6:40pm. The server took our order and we waited. The last time we ate here, it took about 40-45 minutes to get our food, so I didn't think much of it as we sat patiently with hungry kids. But we watched as the restaurant slowly cleared out and 40 minutes became 50 minutes, which became 1 hour, then became 1 hour 10 minutes. Our server never once came back to check on us or refill drinks. Finally, after sitting there for 70 minutes, our server remembered we existed and came out of nowhere to check on us. She immediately realized something was wrong, "swore she put our order in" and hustled off before we could say a word. I watched her frantically put our order in the computer and rush back to the kitchen (I'm assuming to tell the kitchen to expedite our order), then came back and told us the "kitchen lost our ticket, and they were going to rush our order". Mmmk. We told her we were leaving and walked over to Subway to feed our kids. Mistakes happen, I get it. But she lied instead of just taking ownership, and I really feel this deserved more than a "sorry" and a couple of free sprites. I'm not going to call and complain, our son is friends with the owner's son, and it's uncomfortable... but we...
