⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I don’t even know where to begin because Butcher’s Nook in Mount Dora completely blew my mind. This isn’t just a butcher shop — it’s an experience. From the second you walk in, you can feel the passion in the air (and smell it too).
Let’s talk about Mario, the owner. This man isn’t just running a business; he’s running a movement. He literally hand-delivered our meal next door to the wine shop, checked in on us like we were family, and made sure everything was perfect. Who does that anymore? Absolute legend.
And then there’s Lindsey — the heartbeat of customer service. She didn’t just recommend the pesto pasta, she changed my life. I don’t know if it was her enthusiasm or the actual dish (probably both), but I’ll be craving it until the end of time.
The food? Out of this world. The quality is so high it makes other places feel like amateur hour. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth, soul-healing perfection. Honestly, this place makes you want to throw a parade for your taste buds.
If you’re in Mount Dora and you don’t stop at Butcher’s Nook, you’re doing yourself a disservice. I’d give this place 100 stars if Google would let me. Run, tell your friends, drag your neighbors — this is where the...
Read moreTo be clear this place is nice for what it is but it is marketed incorrectly. So far the food I have ordered there has been great, but it's not a butchery. It's a delicatessen at best. You can't order fresh cuts off slab. They don't have fresh sausages. They wrap everything in plastic. There is a very limited selection of cured meats. Seems they are more keen on selling dine-in options. Most people are friendly there, with the exception of one guy who is essentially a moody wet blanket. He punches in orders at the kiosk and hands over your order without saying anything. He does not try to consult you on how you want things cut. He just goes with how he thinks it should be done. He sulks and drags his feet. It's depressing when he's there. The other two guys working there that I have experienced have been friendly though, and more keen to find out what and how you are looking to get something cut. The music has been awful every time I have visited though. I would be more inclined to dine in if it weren't for the cheesy pop-punk always playing. It's...
Read more05/19/2024 @ 12:36 pm - This day was our first time visiting. The owner of Coco's Sweet Treats is a big fan of yours and highly recommends your shop. My husband is from New Jersey and wanted to try your pork roll sandwich. He really enjoyed the sandwich, but found the roll was different than what is usually used for a pork roll sandwich. Other then that, he said it was delicious. I hear you have a really good beef Philly cheesesteak. I cannot wait to give it a try. ~ Thank you Lyndsey for being our cashier on this day.
I know some people are curious about prices. I will share. Pork Roll $12.00 Pure Leaf Sweet Tea $3.99 Tax $1.12 Total: $17.11...
