Today was my first time coming back to this location in a few months due to personal reasons. Traveled 30 minutes out of my way for by far the best coffee in Florida. Expectations were definitely not met at all. Service was seriously in need of some sort of correction and discipline this morning. One barista had her back turned while she was on her phone when I walked in. My drink was not made correctly and therefore I couldn't even enjoy it. I noticed that when the oven went off for my sandwich to be removed, it took the barista several minutes to do so and my sandwich was mildly burnt on the top. I still ate the sandwich because I was hungry plus the barista displayed an attitude that showed she didn't want to be bothered. I then decided to purchase two of the 2oz bottles of vanilla cold brew concentrate. Had I not been paying attention to the price difference, she would have overcharged me by $6 for something I didn't order because she was too busy on her phone texting a friend. When the second barista arrived, they immediately began a conversation with each other and neither of them even bothered to check to see how my drink was. Then I noticed neither baristas were dressed properly for the workplace (leggings, skull caps, and hoodies/jackets). The only things that they seem to be able to get right this morning is showing up on time for work. The way I see it, check the attitude at the door before coming into work or go work somewhere you don't have to deal with the public. Most likely, I won't be back anytime soon because of this. Approached the counter and watched her send a text for a solid 45 seconds before she said any semblance of a greeting to my mother in law and I. We asked what flavors were made, she rudely said “we don’t make any”… it was a short tempered way of answering a question without further explaining the flavors that ARE available. She had a blast acting juvenile and giggling with her other barista co worker, so much so that our bagel sandwich that cooked for 90 seconds took 12 minutes from oven to box 👍🏼 the coffee was another 6-7 minutes. I promptly asked her for her managers name (Kenny) and have every intention to also notify him by phone of her unnecessary abrasive behavior and unprofessionalism. We asked the very busy worker, the only worker in fact , if they had a microwave to heat up the coffee because we felt bad asking them to remake the coffee since there was only one person, And we got swift no, then were immediately walked away from. This is very poor management. On a Saturday morning having a single person with a line basically out the door so busy that they can’t heat up the milk to temp is bad business. I would like to call and ask if we could have them remade another time since we have somewhere to be, but I fear that the only single barista will be the one to have to stop everything they’re doing to answer the phone.
