It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but my order was messed up. I called to have it remade and the woman who originally took my order told me she doesn’t speak English when I asked to have it remade. (Then why did she take my order??) She had her son who speaks English call me and I told him what I wanted for my order. They told me they would remake my food but I needed to bring back the old meal. (TO RESELL IT?!?!) When I came in the woman who took my order was NASTY with me. She looked through the food and told me I ate it. I had 2 pieces of brócoli because it had been an over an hour since my order was placed and I still hadn’t eaten. Then she started to fight with me. I did not get my meal and walked out crying because the service was so rude. I will not be going to this...

This was my first and will be my last dining experience at China Star! The Food was absolutely horrible and really expensive! For $32, I placed 2 orders of shrimp egg foo yung and 2 egg rolls. Orders come with flavorless gummy white rice! I wish I had known the shrimp egg foo yung was prepared with egg beaters (eggsubstitute) instead of real eggs! Even after re-sauteeing in oil at home, the patties were soggy, flavorless, runny, and contained no authentic Cantonese ingredients, such as sweet onions, scallions, mushrooms, bamboo shoots or even bean sprouts!! Most Chinese restaurants are no longer authentic and I wish they were..But since the majority of these joints are now managed by Vietnamese, one thing is consistent: the chefs cannot cook or season...

Not good and not bad. Less oily than other Chinese restaurants but the quality of the food is not the best. They have a lot of rice options which is amazing! The vegetable fried rice is so so good. But I’ve never seen a Chinese resturant that serves chow mein without veggies and i didn’t like the chicken it had a weird after taste (I tried more than 1 kind).
