Lol this is too much not to share... So.. First off, I NEVER have a good experience at the Subway in Mount Dora. But it's close to my house and sometimes I come here just because I'm tired and it's not far. Well, I am here right at this moment and there's two people working. One named Hunter and one named TJ. At least that's what their name tags say. TJ is the first employee I dealt with. Immediately, right off the bat he was rude, and basically had the attitude similar to my 11 yr. old son. He turns around and asks, "what do you want?" like we were interrupting his quiet time. He didn't listen AT ALL!! To the bread, ingredients, everything. I mean I've worked in the food industry for many years (including a Subway) and the job is not that hard. Anyway, after repeating the same thing to this person a dozen times, we get to the Tuna sandwich. TJ scrapes thr little bit left in the container and tries to pass it down. Wasn't even a full scoop he just spread it around. (WTF?!) Then he refused to put Marinara on one of the sandwiches and was so mean about it. He wouldn't let my sister finish her order before he yelled, "what else?" Then, Hunter was told more than once not to cut the Tuna sandwich with the knife that was covered in Marinara and he still used it!! Either they were really high or just straight up hate their jobs. Yup. I'm still in shock lol I don't have any more words to...
Read moreMy husband had a terrible experience with one staff member who was making our sandwiches. I wasn’t there, but when he came home, he was very upset by the way he was treated. He asked for extra chipotle sauce she told him there was a shortage of that sauce and she couldn’t give it to him. He wasn’t happy with that, and she continued to be, very rude to him. She swore at him using the F word numerous times that is clearly unacceptable to us. I don’t know why people in the service industry (employees) seem to think it’s OK to be rude to customers. We are very disappointed with the way my husband was treated today , so sad. We are frequent customers of this subway and have never been treated this way before !!! I have tried to call the establishment to no avail. I will continue to do so until I talk to the manager. I would like to rectify the situation. No one at any Establishment (subway in Mount Dora) should swear at a customer who just asked for extra...
Read moreBad for two reasons: First, the young guy working there barely had his mask in place. Secondly, and the most annoying part of my very very short visit. I don't think I've yet experienced anyone as negative as one of the women that work here at any Subway I've been to, in several states. Ordered a tuna on honey oat. She acted like she didn't hear me and after repeating myself 2 more times she finally told me they don't have that any more. I jokingly told her that a razor blade would remove it (the large sticker saying they have honey oat). She sarcastically said "well, I don't have a razor, so.." I left. I doubt I'll even pick up for door dash from here again. If they hate their job so much, I'M not going to eat there, nor will I have my name attached to anything...
