Unhappy customer‼️ I purchased gas at Wawa in Mt. Dora on October 12th. After pumping the gas my car wouldn’t start. I did notice the pump took a while to finish pumping gas. A few customers came over and checked on me. One customer even came over with a battery jumper to confirm that it wasn't the battery which I knew it wasn’t. I was told that the starting issue sounds like the gas probably have water or trash in it. After trying several times my car still wouldn’t start. My aunt and a customer helped push my car away from the pump into a parking space. I went in the store to ask for a manager. A employee came up and asked me what was my concern. I told him what happened. He asked what gas did I get. I asked him for a number to speak with someone about the gas issue. He acted as if he had no concern and started calling the 800 number out to me. I asked him to please write it down. My daughter came to the store to make sure I make it home. She went in the store to talk with management. Afterwards a nice lady whom introduced herself as the assistant manager came out and took a report of what happened. She told me that someone would be calling me. After trying to start the car again several times it finally started. My daughter followed me home to make sure I made it home safely. I thought the problem was over after running the car, unfortunately it continued having starting issues and running rough. The next few days there were more cranking issues and the car wouldn’t start again until I kept trying to start it. While pressing the brake trying to start the car I pumped the gas pedal at the same time for a while and the car finally started. Wawa insurance company called and left a message on 10/14/24 so I tried to call them back several times and left messages each time. Well Wawa insurance company finally called me back on 10/16/24 and the call didn’t go so well. I was told I can either have a shop check the car and repair it and they can reimburse me for the cost of diagnostics and repair or pay the auto shop directly. I was also told they can either give me $50 Wawa gas card as a option.🧐 On 10/17/24 I took the car to the shop. I was told it’s very costly for them to drop the gas tank and do repairs related to fuel issues and they didn’t want me to possibly get stuck with the bill. I’m so frustrated. I feel this is a loss for me due to my car is not operable because of Wawa bad gas. I do understand business is business with the auto shop. I’m sure the auto shop don’t trust waiting on Wawa to pay them or don’t want to...
Read morePrior to going up there tonight we called to make sure they were serving potato soup, and was told that they were. We're got there, placed our order, paid, and then we're called to the counter and informed that they had just put the potato soup on and it would be a while before it was ready. I had also ordered two sandwiches both of which were hot hoagies, so I asked the man to not Make them until the soup was ready. After 15 minutes I went back in to check the status, and the girl at the food counter tried to hand me my sandwiches, and I explained that I had asked them to not be made. She said she had not heard that, and that it would be another 45 minutes on the soup. The sandwiches were already cold by this point, so I spoke with the manager and got my money back. He had been the one who had helped me to begin with, and said he'd advised the girl at the counter not to make any of the food until the soup was ready. No one advised me that the soup wasn't ready prior to me driving to the store, or prior to ordering or paying. Not did they tell me that it would be and hour wait when they did finally tell me. When I tried to talk to the cashier he told me he had to get his order that was ready while I decided what I wanted, and left me standing there, which is how I ended up having the manager help me in the first place. I was so excited when this location opened, but it has been a huge let down. This is not the first time I've had issues, just the final straw. I...
Read moreThis is now the second we have ordered a pizza, and it has been horrible. The first time, our order seemed to have gotten skipped even though they were on monitors, and you had to physically clear the screen. The employee saw us waiting, and instead of asking if we were waiting on something, they continued to chit chat with their coworkers. We had to ask for our pizza to be made. The second time, which was earlier tonight, we spent 20 minutes waiting until we asked the employee if they had started our order. We were informed the oven was shut off, and we had to wait for it to heat back up. Again, your monitor has the order with the order number. You could have called out the number and let us know it would be a few minutes. Might I add that there had been other pizza orders that had been ordered AND picked up during this time. So the whole time, while we were waiting, the same employee did nothing but give us dirty looks each time he glanced our way. Look, I shouldn't have to apologize for your disliking for your job. A little courtesy goes a long way. I won't be back to this specific location, and the food and deli employees are not great to deal with. By the way, thebpizza was horrible. It was burnt and tested awful. I've had better pizza at Chuck E. Cheese, and we all know how disgusting...
