I've been shopping at Aldi's for years. The employees are very helpful at this location. Produce is great, savings is big, the quality of food is top notch. Someone once told me Aldi was owned by some Middle Eastern business. That's not true, it's origin comes from Germany. If you're unhappy with any product purchased at Aldi's, take it back, they'll refund your money, no arguments at all . it's a win-win. I'm still shopping at Aldi, now I'm living in Mount Dora Florida. I still say shop Aldi's first. They got a money back guarantee..if you do not like a product... they give you your money back, no argument. How can you go wrong?
I'm revising the review. I broke my hip two years ago and wasn't allowed to pick up more than 5 lb. I needed water ,but I didn't want to rely on my friends any longer. I asked a young store associate if she could pick up a couple cases of water for me. I was going to find someone in the parking lot to help me load it ... She didn't acknowledge anything. She ignored me... would not look my way... picked up one case, and threw it in my cart. I said, " thank you! And smiled." she continued with the same attitude refusing to look at me and didn't reply at all. Since I complained to management about the one staff member I've had no more problems
Today 4:30, Tuesday November 3rd. I told a store associate that the machine wasn't accepting my food stamp card, it said it said insufficient funds. I asked a store associate to help me find out what my balance was. Her reply was you need to call the number on the back of your food stamp card, we don't do that for you! I said I've had them tell my balance many times. Then she said, YOU have to go to the cashier for that! Got to the cashier and she was being difficult too. I was was like a piranha for using the food stamp card. She was more interested in being friendly to the guy behind me in line, had no interest in helping me. I don't know what's going on with management , but have a feeling it's not good. I don't know why anybody would say the staff is friendly here because they're absolutely not friendly or helpful. This Aldi store has a bad attitude like the T-Mobile store in the same Shopping Plaza, I'm being sarcastic.... is there something...
Read moreI'm updating this review because as time has passed this store has not gotten any better at keeping things in stock. I have complained several times about this store, and they still CONSTANTLY are out of the items I want to buy! This is a shame because I generally love Aldi as a place to buy food.
And while I'm here I will also add that the people stocking the store during the day are always getting in the way of customers, and it's not that big of a store either, and so you are always having to navigate around people stocking no matter what time of day you go in.
I think they should hire some people to work after they close, to do a lot of the stocking.
I very much wish they would open another store, maybe in the Leesburg area, because the store is the worst of the four or five others I've been to in other areas. The Villages store, for example seems to never be out of things.
How hard it is it to stock more of things that sell out quickly??? It seems they must have a negligent manager. I can't see any other reason that they can't keep things in stock by ordering more of things that sell out quickly every week!
This is not true of one of the other Aldi stores in my area so I have to assume it's due to bad management at some level, at this particular store.
I am giving it 1 star because the people who work there are friendly and helpful. But what good is a store that is always out of the stuff I want to buy?
I don't know what their problem is but they really need to order more of the things they are always out of. One of those is brocolli, another one is calzones... sometimes they have even been out of MILK! They are often out of certain cheeses, classic hummus, V8 juice, Romaine lettuce and etc.
If you are close to another Aldi store, try it instead of this one. And by the way, if you feel like I do, use the internet address at the bottom of your receipt to complain to the Regional Manager.
April 2025 Just a note to say that this place hasn't improved much since I originally wrote my review. They are always out of so many things that I want to buy. And another Aldi that I go to always has everything. I simply can't understand why this particular Aldi is always out of so many things and...
Read moreNice, clean and organized. Fresh produce, and interesting selections of international food, esp German. Just the right size to get what you need for several meals. We make healthier choices here than at Walmart, even though we like Walmart, too. Will eat very healthy tonight! Most grocery shopping at other stores feels like a tedious chore. Aldi...not so much. It's smaller, yet organized, with fast efficient checkouts. There's always something unique that we find to break up the routine of the same old food. Definitely recommend and will be back in a few days.
An updated review on 7/ 22/2022: Still great! Prices up a bit like everywhere else. Produce very fresh and colorful today. I always find a nice selection of really healthy and somewhat decadent food and drink. Stockers were friendly and helpful. I usually dread grocery shopping, but not here. Still recommend and will...
