I would not recommend or return to this Panchero's location.
Today I visited this location at 8pm. The sign on the door read that the restaurant is open until 10pm.
I wanted my usual order - bowl with rice, pulled pork, vegetables, some sides, and chips. But when my turn came to ordering, there were multiple empty or nearly empty trays. The nearly empty trays had left-over food which had obviously been sitting around for some time. Instead of a fresh order, I got old, stale-tasting, under-seasoned, from the bottom of the tray pulled pork and rice, and was told that there were no more vegetables being served for the day. I was so disappointed, that I didn't order my usual sides and simply paid for rice, meat, and chips. When I came home, I fried my own vegetables and added my own sides. This was not the point of getting takeout which I had been looking forward to all day!
While waiting for my order to be completed and paid for, I watched as one of the employees, while cleaning a stove, had his pants well below his bottom, with his underwear for all to see. I found this not only unprofessional, but really ruining my appetite and perception of this location.
Panchero's prides itself on and promotes that its food is always fresh and home-made. Based on this, instead of serving me with stale meat, the tray for the pulled pork should've been replaced with fresh meat. Vegetables should've been fried and offered, as the restaurant was open until 10pm and I was ordering at 8pm.
Lastly, this was my second time visiting this location. I was disappointed in this location once before, as the staff was extremely stingy with the portions of meat and rice, whereas another location which I use, is more generous with their portions. I don't mind paying extra for freshly-made meat, rice, and vegetables, but I do mind asking multiple times for the staff...
Read moreI very rarely give any food establishment less than three stars. I walked in at 1:00pm today and it was completely empty. There were 4 men standing behind the counter. One was working and three were standing there. As I'm standing to order, every single person ignores me for at least five minutes. A simple "I'll be with you" would go a long way but the three guys who were standing around pretended they didn't see me. After I order, I get to the register and notice I was overcharged. I try to clarify but he was being very hostile so I just let it go. I went to grab a brown bag from the stack of bags (because I was going back to work) and he very rudely said "thats not for you". I politely asked if I could have one cause I'm going back to work and he (again) rudely said no. I LOVE Pancheros but me and my family will never return again. I'll take the drive to cherry hill. If you're reading this, you should too. No one should be treated like that and those employees lack basic...
Read moreThe manager Luoiś was one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever experienced work in Food Service. He was ignorant to all the guest in line. There where 2 individuals in front of me trying to use a coupon or app, something was not going thru so he was holding their food back, understandable. I was trying to pay with a cc which was not going thru we assumed their system was down, so my wife was grabbing cash to pay, he starts yelling at my wife to give him her card, as said, that’s really poor guest service to which he replied, we are busy and have many locations and laughed, now the girl behind me is asking about a buy one get one offer on the app, he told her they where too busy to honor the coupon. He continued to engage with a comment and then disengage and speak to some else. The best was when asked his name he started signing it as he spelled. I would hope this gentleman learns some guest service soon! Won’t...
