We had a death in the family and we were trying to no avail to get subs delivered to the house. I thought I would try Jersey Mikes in Netcong even though they didn’t mention anything that they deliver. I called and spoke with Tim. Tim told me that yes, they don’t deliver. I told him that we had a death in the family and I was far and I couldn’t get anyone to deliver subs to the house. WELL….. Tim said listen, I get off at 2 and I would be happy to drop them off for you!! I told him how wonderful he was and how much I really appreciated it. I tried to tip him for going above and beyond and being such a great person but he wouldn’t hear of it. He took my order for 2 sub boxes. He then called me back to suggest they don’t put the oil and vinegar on them but would put them on the side (great idea) so they don’t get soggy. He also then threw in a box of cookies. Let me tell you…… I haven’t run into customer service like this in a very long time if ever!!! What a wonderful person with a big heart!!! You can’t teach that you either have it or don’t and Tim has it in spades!!! What an asset to have!!! I hope that one day he owns his own business because he obviously treats where he works like he owns it himself!!! I really can’t thank Tim enough and because of him I will certainly go to Jersey Mikes wherever I am. Thank you Tim!!!! Read moreI just came with my friend to order some subs, I have no complaints at all about the food because I always love it! The issue I encountered today was terrible costumer service. As soon as we walked in the young lady that was taking orders told us she could take our order, as I order my friend was still deciding what to get. I told her nicely that my friend was still deciding and to give her another minute. She just turned away, nothing wrong yet. Like 3 mnts later (because she was busy, no issue with this at all) she comes closer and yells at my friend: “So are you gonna order or what?”my friend replied with her order in a polite manner. At check out she didn't ask if I was a part of the rewards program nor she asked if I needed anything or if I wanted the receipt! She just took my payment and left the register. Im mad particularly because every other customer she was helping she asked these questions in a very lovely manner. We needed a platter of sandwiches sent to our family that had just experienced a loss, but we lived to far to pick it up and deliver it ourselves. This business does not have a delivery service but after hearing our situation and circumstances Tim offered to bring it there for us when he got off of work. Not only did he deliver the sandwiches for us, he also added a box of cookies for free. There is nothing I appreciate more than good customer service and I would consider this outstanding customer service. The family appreciated the sandwiches as they were grieving and did not need to worry about something to eat. The sandwiches were amazing, but most importantly the time Tim took to make sure they had them was what set them apart from the rest. I highly recommend supporting this local business, you will not be disappointed....
