LaRosa's Pizza Mt. Orab — Restaurant in Mount Orab

Made reservations a month in advance for the party room for my daughters first birthday party. 35-40 people spoke with the manager even got a confirmation call the day before confirming the time. Show up 45 minutes early day of get told they stopped seating people in the room 15 minutes ago and there is one party still back there we can go back when they are finished. 45 minutes later at our reservation time we are told there are now 3 tables back there still eating. About twenty minutes after our reservation time one of the hostess’ said the big table is open and we can head back. All 40 of us head back and then the manager had the audacity to come to the room and tell me some of us need to wait up front until the other three tables clear out that we are being disrespectful to guests that were there before us by standing. I asked her didn’t we reserve this room for 20 minutes ago? At which point she told me they don’t take for reservations for Saturday and Sunday. I’m totally confused at this point like what was the reservation for a month ago and the call for confirmation for yesterday confirming party time and size? This manager was overly rude and not very welcoming. She yelled at the hostess’ for seating us and was just being overly rude to me. I asked her if we should leave if there wasn’t going to be any open tables and she said if that’s what we would like to do yes she then proceeded to tell me they don’t take reservations. She had the entire party upset and I had the majority of my friends and family standing there confused like I thought this was going to be a party who are all these other people here? This is revised review!! I will not eat at Mt. Orab LaRosas again. I ordered a pizza hoagie with pizza sauce and cheese ONLY! I got a hoodie with Pizza sauce, cheese, pickles, & Jalapeno peppers. So, I took it back in and told the young lady that it had more then what I ordered. She took it back to the back of the store and came out and told me what was on it and that THEY WAS MAKING ME A NEW SANDWICH! A young man came out after a view minutes and handed me another box so I thought!! I checked the sandwich to make sure it only had what I ordered and it seemed to be ok. UNTIL I GOT HOME AND TOOK A BITE OF IT. I IMMEDIATLY TASTED THE PEPPER. IT'S A GOOD THING I'M NOT ALLERGIC TO PEPPERS BECAUSE THIS COULD HAVE HURT ME! ALL THEY DID WAS REMOVED THE PICKLE AND PEPPERS AND HAVE ME THE SAME SANDWICH! IF YOU PUT PEPPERS ON ANYTHING AND TAKE THEM OFF YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TASTE THEM. I JUST DROVE UP FROM TENNESSEE AND WAS CRAVING A STAKE HOAGIE FROM LAROSAS. NOW I CAN'T EAT MY FOOD THAT I PAID FOR THAT IS CRAP AND THE STORE CLOSED JUST A FEW MINUTES AFTER I LEFT AT 9pm. I will be returning the sandwich tomorrow and will be refunded for the sandwich that I did not order! Then I will go to another pizza place and get a hoagie like I want it made! Very disappointed in the service I received!!!!

Very good pizza. Getting a little pricy for the quality of food has went down in the past years. I live in Tennessee now after living in southern OH for 45 years. I still like getting LaRosa's when I go to visit. But it is still not the same as it...

Over all, the inside of the restaurant was nice. The tables and seats were all clean, the service was great, the music was odd but pleasant to vibe to, the food came hot, the drinks cold, and the salads fresh. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside, but they are big, and that's probably difficult to keep up with. There were no rugs either, which in most restaurants, trip up my gramma with her walker.

I really just have two things to mention:

1. The three family members I was with all agreed that the tables seemed a bit tall. Although, this did not cause any actual issues. (I'm the smallest at under five feet tall, and I thought it was fine... shrug)

2. Might want to change the paper you serve food on! I got mozzarella sticks, and the paper almost immediately gave me a deep papercut on my finger. (I took the bloody napkin with me.
