Boba Etc. — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I don't know the name of the girl working tonight closing shift Sunday June 7th 2025, but I believe more training should be done with her on what a smoothie's consistency should be. Half of my glass was solid ice chunks. It was still delicious I'll give it that it just felt more like a peach milk over ice. But the rolled ice cream was also good. The reason for the 2 star review is this. You can clearly see I'm unhappy with what you gave me, she did nothing to fix the issue. What she did do is start cleaning all around me and start putting up chairs. They don't close until 9. Why are you putting up chairs at 6:45 instead of trying to make a customer happy? She had a horrible attitude when I originally asked for a smoothie. She's like "you sure you don't want a slush?" I'm assuming that's easier. I assured her I indeed wanted a smoothie. She acted super bothered. But my kids ice cream came out delicious so I didn't make a scene. But if you hate your job that much don't go. I felt like she rushed through making my order and also was rushing us out so she could get back on her phone. Horrible customer service. You don't pack up around people like...

My confusion a couple months ago was about not being able to order boba drinks online anymore. Now it’s different. They have been out of so many menu options lately. I’ve been trying for over a month to find something I like. Every time I try to place an order online, they almost always deny it or don’t respond. Before, they used to call you on why they denied it and would tell you what else they have available. Now they don’t even try to call you anymore. Now, on the times they haven’t accepted my online order at all, I call or swing by and they immediately take my order. While pulling up, I’ve seen workers just sitting on the tables on their phones, which makes me realize on why they couldn’t accept my online order in the first place. Lastly, when I tried ordering a smoothie one time, the lady that answered said, “uh….. we can’t do that right now…..” and that’s all she said. What do you mean?! Also, the Takis on the elotes have been tasting...

It seems like it could be a decent place to relax for a few minutes. The problem was that the staff didn’t take our order. When we came in, there were about 6 or 7 other customers in the building. The person in front of us ordered, and we waited. The staff looked at us and then turned around to do their business without saying a word. And we waited. That’s fine too. They had to get their orders out. 5 min passed by and we were finally told it would be a second. 15 min later, and we still weren’t helped. They staff were not friendly and showed they didn’t want our business, so we left. There is a large void of decent restaurants or businesses to frequent in this area.
