Me and my children came in so I can add a line and activate a new iPhone as well, straight from Apple. I first observed an old woman who was upset because Alex did something to her phone and she lost a very important photo. I get the older generation and their frustrations with tech. So when Alex couldnāt even de-escalate the situation, I stepped in. When the woman finally left. I was next on the board but Alex and another male representative decided to gossip about the situation for over 10 minutes in front of all the guest. Before I knew it, Alex called me up. Again, coming to add a line and active a new iPhone 13 from Apple. Last night I did the update so I wasnāt in the store long. Well according to Alex I shouldnāt have updated this at home and waited to even open it at the store. Knowing Iām fully aware NOTHING can be done till the update is complete. So long story short Alex gaslights me and blames me as to why it wonāt activate and says system out of date, when itās not. She chatted online with some representative that took over 10 mins to ever respond to her every time. Alex then thought it was appropriate to have me leave this store without any resolution. I then decided to call myself. Iām not clearly sure how Alex can maintain her job as she canāt problem solve, make a recommendation or de-escalate a situation. Meanwhile all the employees stood around to watch and probably gossip like they did before about the elderly woman. Who Alex told everyone that she has some mental issues and does this time to time. If I ever see this woman out in public Iām going to tell her what Alex has said! Donāt ever expect me to return here when a representative over the phone fixed my situation in a few minutes according to Alex that wouldnāt happen! DO BETTER ALEX! I just needed to set up an appointment to buy a new phone. I signed in and stood there while the man continued to type and act like i didnt exsist. so apparently my sign in didn't go through, because women came in behind me and were called right away. he never told me my sign in didn't go through but I noticed a screen with names in it and saying they were a walk in. I'm not sure what happened to the customer service, it has went down the toilet.
Decades working costumer service, with the public, running stores, working hospitality we greeted people with a smile, we acknowledged them, we asked if we could help them, and we told them thanks for stopping in and to have a good day as they were headed out. The new customer service provided makes me not want to return. the goal of customer service is to make customers feel welcome and appreciated so they want to come back.
I was on a time crunch and had less than an hour to schedule the appointment and to get home to get my child with special needs off the bus. I wasted close to a half hour there and ended up ordering my phone with a rep over the phone.
That man was wonderful, he went above and beyond to make sure all my needs and questions were answered. He helped me find the perfect phone to replace my phone that had broken/died. I'm giving one star because I have no choice. I can say the one store can be for a...
