King's Cup Cafe — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

The Grind gives Mount Pleasant a good name despite its urban sprawl community plan. The panini sandwiches my wife and I had were made by a very friendly gentlemen--with a wild mane of hair all over his face and head--and they were very scrumptious. I think he was a hippie or something. But anyway, the real thing to try here is a thing called "breakfast-in-a-cup." I was having a hard morning while visiting my husband who works in the area. I don't live in this state so I googled the nearest place. For some reason I didn't pick the closest option but came to Kings Cafe instead. Walked in, ordered a coffee from a very pleasant & helpful young lady. I noticed the music and then opened my eyes and looked around I knew I was led her for peace in my soul, and thats exactly what I received. So i been going to this coffee shop for many years. Since i moved out of Racine, every time i visit my family i try to come to this place since they have great coffee, and amazing paninis. Any panini you pick you will love it. My favourite was Tuna panini, but it seems they don't offer that one anymore(only trough catering) and when they did usually was sold out since it was very popular item on their menu.
