McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

First time trying this location. Ordered the McAllister sandwich meat and cheese only, tortilla soup bowl, and the new bbq nachos. We paid got our number and sat down. While waiting we noticed our nachos was sat up on the top and then the sandwich. Then a few minutes goes by and the soup and broccoli was sat up. Guy was still ringing other people and getting orders together. I’d say about 15/20 minutes or so from the time we sat down to actually getting our food. The sandwich came with mayo when asked to be plain meat and cheese. Nachos was cold as you see in the picture the cheese isn’t even melted. The soup was really good and warm. It saved the nachos as we added it to the nachos. Took sandwiche back because he will not eat mayo and they said we would get a refund for the sandwich and nachos. Lady said it would go back on the card it had to be done thru home office or something like that 🤷🏼‍♀️ didn’t ask name or and card info to do the refund....

Ordered on uber eats, definitely was not a rough driver because I called and asked if the food was moved around on the drive and reassured me they drove safely. We ordered two sandwiches and two sides. The sandwiches looked like they were put together by a toddler and the bacon was burnt. Couldn’t even eat like a proper sandwich because they were falling apart. For sides I ordered the tortilla soup and potato salad. The soup was gelatinous and goopy. The potato salad somehow had multiple pieces of honeydew melon in it. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and have never had any issues. Whoever put my order together needs more training or to be fired. We couldn’t even finish our food. Soup was immediately thrown away, it looked disgusting. Couldn’t finish our sandwiches, they were too messy and falling apart. Potato salad…. Well. More like melon salad. Absolutely foul. Never ordering...

I’ve never seen employees move so slow at a restaurant. I get if there is a wait for food because of a crowd but this was a different beast. Food was just sitting in the window for a long time while employees talk to there friends at the registers for 5-6 minutes. Once they get around to the food in the window they just slowly put the utensils on the plate and then slowly take it to the table, where they come, not remembering what the customer just asked for. Got my order quickly, most likely because I stood there waiting for it, to get it as soon as it hit the window. I took it to one of every dirty table in the place. Sandwich was very good, no knock on the food. Cooks seemed to be pumping it out with quality and good time. But this service @7pm is ridiculous. Hope it was just 1/31...
