Placed an order through DoorDash. The food was bare minimum edible, so I doubt I will order again. The Philly cheese was completely dried out, felt like I was eating pure ground meat and there was very little, I mean like a minuscule amount of cheese and onions. Thus it was VERY dry and not the least bit moist.
To compound matters further, I specifically requested extra onions for the Philly, extra blue cheese crumbles for the salad, and extra cheese for the French onion soup. I would have gladly paid extra if they had an option for such things.
In either case there is nothing more frustrating or aggravating than a restaurant that has an option for added and or special requests and then proceeds to totally and completely ignore it as if you never asked for it. Suffice to say, there was less than even the normal amount of onions for the Philly, a dab of cheese for the soup, and normal crumbles, not extra for sure!
I mean come on guys, do you care about your customers or don’t you??? Never ceases to amaze me how hurt the economy is and how hard it is for businesses to make good money and yet you have a place like this that not only doesn’t put forth extra effort, they won’t even put forth a normal expected effort.
The shepherds pie was good and the wedge salad was good, but I can’t afford to play hit or miss and flip a coin as to what item will taste good or bad.
Oh well, that’s how you get a negative review and a...
Read moreWe decided to try O’briens after taking a walk around I’on yesterday and the food was great. Our server was very kind and accommodating; she brought water for both our pups which was very much appreciated! It seemed like she could have been a little more prepared by having some of the small things a little more readily accessible- For instance, there was 3 of us and we each ordered an iced tea, mine was the only one that didn’t get a lemon which I thought was a little odd. I know these are small things but to me, it would have just made the service that much more on point. Each time we asked for something she’d have to make her rounds and then go back inside for straws or what have you which ended up taking longer than necessary so maybe carrying some straws with you or having them more readily accessible might would have helped. Aside from that, I had the turkey Rachel, my partner had the fish and chips and we also got the French dip and the Reuben (by accident). Each dish was really good and flavorful and the portions were generous and there was plenty of space to eat outside. The restrooms were clean and the atmosphere inside was nice and they have large flat screens to accommodate various sports matches that...
Read moreCame here while visiting Charleston this place had a comfortable feel the bar staff was very friendly and welcoming. People were very personable and went out of their way to meet me. I had a mishap and unknowingly dropped a piece of somewhat expensive jewelry, didnt notice at the time and left it. When I got back to my hotel I noticed I didn't have it. The next evening I came by and saw the manager that was there the night before and asked if they had seen it.. "He first greeted me by name as if I was a regular and said come with me" So followed him to the bar and he said " I believe we got you covered". and sure, enough he found the gold jewelry and put it in a cup for me and stuck it behind the bar, just in case i came for it. "He informed me it was found when the staff was sweeping up. I was very thankful and impressed. Because of that I'm definitely coming back anytime I'm near or in the area again!!! If you want to go to a bar that is welcoming to new goers I highly recommend this place and it is in a nice...
