Visited this Pizza establishment back in Sept, 2024 , I came all the way from Nebraska to visit family on a Surprise visit. with several family members. Great food, I have stomach issues and was hesitant to eat the pizza, but tried it anyway, well I ended up eating more than my normal amount of 2 pieces, it was so good. There was one kind i tasted that had like ranch or something on it. My niece ordered it it was so good. The wait staff went out of her way to get more tables so we could sit together!! This is a biggy for me when eating with a group. I don't like to sit seperate and there were 9 of us!! The breadsticks were outa this world!! Pop was cold n fresh, so many times fountain pop tastes like chlorine!! They were busy!! We waited and visited !! Served in a timely manner and I don't think We had to take much home. The owner was ill so he was not working, how many eating establishments do you know of where the owner works n waits tables,? Nowadays it takes a village to keep places open, seems like noone wants to work, so if you have to wait a little longer for food etc, sit n visit with your crew, stay off your phones and observe how many are working. I work in healthcare and I know what work is and what it's like to have to be patient and wait. Give these restraunts a break!! , before we no longer have them available!! I always said Restraunts are the last place i would work, too much stress, customer complaining, and I hate cooking!! Lol I'd rather eat out n have to wait!! Kudos to Lonnie and his crew!!! Keep up the great work!! Love your pizzaso much that I came back home to brag to my friends n family that they wanna come to Michigan and eat at Lonnie's pizza n the Pixie!! Lolmy advice to all you haters, stay home and cook if you have no patience, understanding, tips!!, etc for the food industry!! I pray you wake up on the same side God does in...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Pisanello’s for years, and I can confidently say this place is a gem. They truly go above and beyond to cater to their customers' needs, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions. As someone with specific dietary requirements, I’ve always felt heard and respected here. The staff is accommodating, knowledgeable, and willing to take extra steps to ensure my experience is enjoyable and stress-free.

The cleanliness and atmosphere are consistently top-notch. Every visit, I’m impressed by how well-maintained the space is—it's clear that the team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment. The salad bar is a standout feature, offering fresh options that we don't really have any more in Mt. Pleasant. I was incredibly excited when the salad bar became available after church on Sundays!!

The staff has always been professional and courteous. They work hard to provide great service, whether it's keeping the dining area tidy or introducing new and exciting products to the menu. It's inspiring to see a business so committed to improving and staying innovative while maintaining the personal touch that makes small-town establishments special.

Pisanello's is the kind of place that feels like home. It’s more than a restaurant; it’s a community staple where customers are treated like family. They also donate alot of time and money into our community. For anyone looking for a delicious, welcoming, and honest dining experience, this is the spot. Don’t let a few negative voices overshadow the heart and effort this team pours...

We paid for our pizza and sat down and was having a decent time. Then the manager and the girl in the back wearing Crocs and sweatpants told us we were supposed to leave a tip. It was very unprofessional and made us all feel uncomfortable. Never had a restaurant do that. Tips for what? Do you have a waiter? Do you refill my cup? This isn't a Hooters. It's a pizza place that's nearly entirely self-serve. We left our table with nothing on it, and the tables around us weren't cleaned the whole time we were sitting there. They kept saying that the owner would yell at them and have to act like this. The owner sounds like a short tempered micromanager. Still no excuse to be rude. I'd quit this penny pinching place or refuse to enforce stupid rules. Used to get this pizza once a week. This place is going way downhill with the new owner and rude girls working there. Prioritizes money over customers...

I just moved to the area, and my car happened to break down last night and this was the cheapest place I found for what I was looking for, and I was not disappointed. Might have helped that I'm super close, but the pizza was steaming hot. The right amount of cheese, sauce, and pepperonis. Bread sticks were pretty amazing too, a little dry but garlic butter helped that! Definitely plan on coming back :). Not sure who my delivery driver was, but he was super friendly and it was super fast too!

Average pizza but we did not like the breadsticks or cheese bread at all! The only person in our family that liked it was a five-year-old child. There was no taste to the breadsticks even when dipping them into the garlic butter or the marinara sauce. The cheesbread was also blah. I was sad because I had read other reviews that claimed that these were both good things to try. Maybe it was an off day or something. It was Christmas eve.
