Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

While I had a poor experience at this location previously, both with the service and the food, I decided to give them another chance tonight. It's a newer store and I understand all businesses go through growing pains. I am happy to report a massive improvement in the customer service and overall environment of the store, however the food continues to be disappointing. I ordered a pan crust pizza and received what looked nothing like the traditional pizza hut pan pizzas I am used to. I was sure they had given me the hand tossed crust by mistake so I went back in to ask. The employees were friendly and willing to help right away. They stated it was definitely a pan crust, but maybe hadn't been cooked quite long enough as it did lack the normal crispiness, and they offered to remake it right away. They had a new pizza ready for me in under 10 minutes but sadly the second one looked even worse. The crust was slightly more crisp, but still looked and tasted nothing like the pizza hut pan pizzas I've been eating since childhood, and there was barely any cheese on what was supposed to be an extra cheese pizza. It had been many years since I had eaten Pizza Hut. I wanted to enjoy the flavor that I enjoyed growing up as a kid.

I ordered a Pan Super Supreme and a Pan Hawaiian Pizza with green olives with a full order of breadsticks.

I kid you not.... it is The Worst, or second worst pizza I have ever eaten. The toppings were fine, other than the whole green olive with a large Pit The customer service was fantastic, but their dough is hot garbage. It's so FLUFFY AND CAKEY. Zero crisp, I ordered a deep dish, and it had the feeling of eating a submarine bun cut in half and eating a pizza boat. I ate a few slices and scrapped the toppings off the rest and just ate the toppings. The breadsticks were exactly the same quality. Not crunchy.... just fluffy and they were not cut, like they used to do.

Bring back the pizza that Pizza Hut used to offer and quality the customers deserve.

When I was waiting for my food, another woman returned her pizza to have it remade because her Pan pizza looked like a hand tossed and was very cakey also with no crisp.

If I could give them a negative stars, I would the fact that I called and order a pizza a small dinner box for 10 bucks and they come to my house and charge me 26 telling me it’s DoorDash makes me sick to my stomach then when I called somebody about it and ask what’s going on nobody’s got any answers I called the local Pizza Hut paid for delivery. I did not order a DoorDash and I shouldn’t have had to pay that extra $10 plus the tip plus the delivery fee offer a $10 pizza.
