A Night Ruined: Horrible Service at Crazy Mansions
Tonight was meant to be an incredibly special night for my family. It was my nephew’s first chorus concert, and my elderly parents, whom I rarely get to see, were in attendance to celebrate. After the concert, my nephew specifically requested a sweet treat from Crazy Mansions, a place we had high hopes for. We arrived at exactly 8 PM, ready to enjoy some dessert and quality family time.
But what happened next was an absolute disaster. Upon entering, there were two workers behind the counter. Despite there being only three or four people ahead of us and a couple of tables waiting for their orders, we received no greeting, no acknowledgment, and no indication that it might be a bit of a wait. We stood there for twenty minutes, watching the workers move slower than molasses, as if they were in a daze. No orders were taken, and no one seemed to be getting served.
It was as if we were invisible. No effort was made to communicate with us or the other customers, and it became painfully clear that Crazy Mansions could care less about the people who walked through their doors. The lack of basic customer service was appalling.
After wasting twenty minutes of our evening, we walked out, along with at least 20 other people. This wasn’t just a missed order—it was a complete failure of service. The night was ruined for my family, especially for my elderly parents who were looking forward to spending rare, quality time together after the concert. We had planned to enjoy a sweet treat and make some memories, but instead, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
Crazy Mansions clearly doesn’t care about customers who arrive within an hour of closing, nor do they seem to care about communicating with them. The entire experience was an utter shame and a huge letdown. We will never be returning, and I’ll be telling others to avoid this place...

When I first heard about the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Mount Pleasant, SC, I thought, "This must be the place where all the 'cool' kids hang out." And let me tell you, it's not just cool, it's frosty. Walking into the Crazy Mason is like stepping into a dairy dreamland, and I'm not "milking" it when I say their milkshakes are udderly amazing!
Now, I'm a simple man. I like my lawn green, my jokes punny, and my milkshakes thick enough to make my straw stand at attention. The Crazy Mason doesn't just deliver; they go above and beyond. Their shakes are like a meal and a dessert all in one. It's like they took the phrase "go big or go home" and ran with it all the way to the dessert aisle.
The menu is a smorgasbord of creamy concoctions that'll make you feel like a kid in a candy store. I tried the "Cookie Monster Mash," and let me tell you, it was love at first bite. It's packed with cookies, cream, and everything in between. And the best part? You don't have to sneak into the kitchen after midnight to enjoy it!
But it's not just about the shakes. The atmosphere is just as sweet. The staff are the cherry on top, always serving up smiles with a side of dad jokes. They must sprinkle a little bit of happiness in with the sprinkles because you can't help but leave in a better mood than when you walked in.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a place that serves up laughter, good times, and milkshakes that are in a league of their own, then the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar is your joint. It's a place where every sip brings a smile, and every visit feels like a "sundae" afternoon with the family. So, grab your kids, your appetite, and your best dad jokes, and head on down to the Crazy Mason. It's a "flan-tastic" experience that's sure to "dessert" your expectations!
And remember, life is uncertain, so eat...
Read moreI think we, (my sister, my niece, her 16 month old son and myself), visited on a Sunday around 3pm. My first impression, milkshake variety was excellent. I chose a simple hot fudge milkshake, ( hot fudge, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry on top). My sister choice strawberry with strawberry cookie crumbs on the outside rim of mason jar. (I forgot the milkshakes are served in a take home decorative mason jar). I don't recall my neice's selection, but she also ordered orange sherbet for her son. It was very busy and quite loud. The teenage hostess seemed a little put off when we asked to look at a menu. They do have a menu board at the ordering station, but with 15 people in line, we wanted to do a group order and have one person place the order, while we found seating. Once the order is placed, you're assigned an order number and when it's displayed on the monitor you pick-up your order. When your done sipping your milkshake, there is a rinsing station to clean the take home mason jar. It's a good location with ample parking and easy to access. I will visit again, but not one hour...
