Joe's Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Rainier

I read the reviews before coming...as usual..I used to come to this restaurant when I was a teenager. I'm in my 30's now....thought it would be pure nostalgia. But what I saw was HORRIFIC. I ordered shrimp egg foo Yung. It was the MOST disgusting food I've ever had in my life...but I was scared to even try it and let me tell you why... I don't think I've ever said this about any business but a health inspector needs to be called out to this place. I ordered my food and after I ordered...i started looking into the kitchen while the guy was taking my order and I saw a huge bucket of already fried chicken. Yes...I said a bucket. The chicken was sitting in a bucket...not being tempered..not in a refrigerated...a BUCKET for God's sake. That's the fried chicken people continuously kept ordering because it's SOOO cheap. I don't know how long that chicken had been sitting there but I was there 30 minutes too long to see them re frying that chicken for the mass of people requesting it. I can't be too mad as people walked up...saw that bucket..and still ordered chicken But they weren't ordering large amounts. 3 piece...that tells me...they did it out of starvation...fries were sitting in a fryer over top of the oil....uncooked.... I have a serv safe license and I know how to serve sage food and do inspections. This place would fail in so many areas. Please don't eat here. I certainly won't again. It's not worth you getting sick or worse. There's a super Japan right across the street. Please don't eat here. My stomach is turning as I write this.. My first time ordering for delivery over the phone I called first, I had a few questions about there tenders I was trying to order for my 2yr old I had ask are there tenders fried hard for one ,no answer then I had ask was there anyway I can get the tenders by its self separate wit the order of mozzarella sticks ..whoever this man was ...rude quickly hung up in my face saying it's 15 dollars we don't do that hung up in my face...smh..I call back again to go head with my order man don't say hold on ma'am let me put you on hold he rudely just sit the phone down as I can hear and proceeded wit whatever he was doing while I'm still on the phone saying hello... smh y'all dropping meaus off at apt complex wanting us to order from y'all and this is the customer service I get..nope my first time ordering from you...
