We ordered the Cali Fries, Al Pastor Tacos (just keeping it light), and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The Cali Fries were loaded just right, and the tacos and quesadilla were solid. No complaints on the food.
They were out of Jamaica, which was a bit of a letdown. If something that simple and popular is constantly running out, it’s worth keeping better inventory. Jamaica is one of those staple drinks people expect at a taco truck—it’s refreshing and completes the meal. If customers keep asking for it, it’s a sign to stock more and avoid running out daily.
Another thing to note—there was no shaded area to sit or even stand while ordering. Other reviews mentioned some type of shade or cover, but when we went, there wasn’t any. We ended up eating in the car. Honestly, if there was a place to sit, we probably would’ve ordered more.
If this is a growing food truck business with multiple locations, here are some recommendations to level up the customer experience:
– Add consistent canopies at all trucks—for both eating and ordering – Offer a few simple tables or stools, even fold-out setups – Keep menu boards uniform so the brand feels consistent – Think about adding QR code ordering or a simple mobile system – Highlight signature dishes with visuals on the truck (like those Cali Fries) – And above all, maintain clean setups and well-stocked essentials like Jamaica
How you do anything is how you do everything. First and last impressions matter.
