I worked here almost two months, and I knew I was in for it on my very first day when I heard there was no store manager. Managers came from other BKs to help run it, so there was no unity. I figured I needed a job, how bad could it be? I used to work fast food. Folks, it's bad. This place should not be open during CoVid. It's disgusting, and many of the employees do not care about the customers or the job enough to help fix it. I was one who did care, and I even got screamed at by a customer who didn't get his drink rung up by the person who took his order! I was going to give it to him for free, and he still continued to berate me for "outrageous" prices!" Food is left out on the counters with no refrigeration. Meaning wilted lettuce, tomatoes, oxidized mayonnaise and tartar sauce. Bacon is usually raw. Whopper and impossible burgers are constantly touching each other. Burnt meat is handed out. Expired, dried food. People will keep the food on timers only as long as a store manager is around that cares, and will refuse to listen to me when I say not to serve something, and ask why I am picking on them when I try to enforce any rule that benefits the customers and the store owners. Several store managers will just sit in the office, even during a rush and not help their crew, knowing this store is understaffed! One person walked out on his lunch because during work, an employee was telling gory war details, after he asked this employee politely to stop talking about them, the employee became belligerent. Everyone shrugs him off, even though he is incapable of even handling the job of making a burger! The sandwiches he makes are likely to have no meat, cheese separated from the meat by everything else, an whopper patty that supposed to be an Impossible, etc! I understand they need employees but the quality of this store is so bad, they're better off firing some of these people and shutting down until they can remodel the store and find new ones. No one is properly taught how to do anything, not even to clean. They think it's okay to spray down the fry station parts with just floor cleaner and water and it's fine! Those parts touched a floor that hasn't been cleaned in god knows how long! Drains are constantly backed up. Store is covered in mold, mildew and years old grease. Equipment barely works. Constantly running out of product, making me wonder just how involved the owners were. Who also want to enforce rules about wearing masks, but don't wear them while in the store with us. You may ask, why not stick around and do your job? I don't like being confrontational and that's all these people are if someone who isn't their boss tells them how to do their job. There is only one of me and I for one, cannot stomach watching as people are handed food by people who are under the weight of a very negative work environment. I felt this so strongly I felt I must post this review, to save people the food poisoning of ordering here, and the toxicity of working here. Rome wasn't built in a day, but this store needs a drastic...
Read moreMy hubby and I went here tonight for just a quick dinner. I have never been more disappointed with the service in a fast food resturant as I was at this joint. We have been here before and it was nice but this visit in particular was just plain AWFUL. To start, the manager on shift was Natassia (who was very rude). We were waiting in line to order our food and she called out an order number with an attitude. The older man walked up to get his food and she pushed it towards him as she walked away. He tried asking for BBQ sauce and was ignored, then she finally rudely turned around and told him she would get it in a second, then turned around to face him with another order in her hand, reached down, grabbed a sauce, and literally THREW it on his plate and gave him a dirty look. As we waited for our food at our seat, you could hear her throughout the entire joint being extremely rude to not only her team but to her customers. She continuously xhewed out her team members rudely with an extremely loud voice. You could tell that customers and employees both were uncomfortable. Then I assume a man who was HER boss came in and went behind the counter and she got really nervous and shut up. We did not get the right burger on one of them, and the onion rings had no onions. On another note, there was a man named Matt who rung us up that I would like to give extra props to. He was super nice to us, and even came over to our table as he was cleaning the lobby (looking embarrassed as the manager continued to be almost vulgar) and offered to take our tray for us. He even brought a cinnamon roll to an older lady. I work in the industry and know what is acceptable and not. This Burger King and this manager are completely UNACCEPTABLE. There is no reason this woman needed to act the way that she did. And I will not be coming back if she is working, probably not even at all for that matter. This joint has lost my respect as a customer, and will not be getting my money EVER again unless this is resolved. You need more people like Matt. Until that happens, we will not...
Read moreI stopped by to try the new Impossible burger. It was hard to even get any of the staff to talk. The least of my issues is a lack of greeting or acknowledgement. I'm not sure but it appears as though the entire store was caught totally off-guard by my ordering a #3 meal, regular size. The cashier rang up a medium size and when he put the Cup on the counter I asked if that was a regular size and he says no it's a medium. I said I ordered a regular size and he looked at me and made some kind of a silly face and then said so do you want me to ring it up as a regular. I said yes. He then had to go get a manager to take care of it. When she rings up my order correctly, he disappears to the back washing dishes. When the manager finished ringing up my order she walked away and the cashier never came back. I started to put ice in my cup but the automatic ice dispenser was empty. The employee argued with his self back and forth that the ice bin should be full. Some screen came on and no one could figure it out and so I finally asked if I could get some ice from drive-thru. Someone got me ice. But then another screen came up and apparently they were out of drink syrup. Then I asked if I could get some coke from the drive-thru. I got the coke. I watched my burger sit in the bin after being made for proximately 6 minutes. Finally someone from the drive-thru saw that I had been waiting and got a tray to put my order on. She put two impossible burgers and an order of fries. The manager stopped her to explain that I only got one impossible burger and an order of fries. When I got the food the fries were cold. I asked for fresh ones. What I bit into the burger I noticed that the pattie was gray, dry, and appear to be an old pattie. When I got my fries I asked the manager about the impossible Burger. I asked if it could possibly be an old pattie or were they always dry like leather. Barely acknowledging that I was even standing there, she said they're always like that.
I won't return to this Burger King and maybe no others either. Terrible experience for...
