I just moved to the area and had never eaten at burger master before but was very excited to try it. The first two times I went there I ordered bacon on my burger and got home opened it and no bacon. The person taking my order just did not add it to my order after repeating it back to me right after I asked for it. The second time I saw there was no bacon I was frustrated. I went back driving all the way across town and they remade it for me, but now the other food I ordered is cold and I didnt get to eat with my family bcuz I went back to get my stuff fixed. I have to say that the customer service is not so great. For the price of the food I think that the customer service should definitely be a lot better. Especially when they mess up and a person explains what happened more than once.
The last time I went was yesterday after a few months figured I would give it another try because their Hamburgers are good and I’m pregnant so it sounded really good! I realized that I always leave this establishment irritated/annoyed with an issue with ordering. I ordered my food and got a kids meal for my daughter along with it. It says that the kids meal comes with a drink. A different person brought my food out and there was no drink. I asked about the drink and she told me that the person that took my order did not add it to my ticket and that he didn’t charge me for it…..but to my understanding on the menu it says that the meal comes with a food item, fries, the drink and a treat. This girl tried to charge me more money to get the drink for my kid. At this point I am so frustrated and was just like you know what never mind. When I ordered I had asked for a receipt for my food and never got a copy when I paid. The receipt on the bag just has the items and not the price you paid. I just feel like that is cringy that this girl tried charging me for a lemonade that should have come with my daughter s kids meal. I couldn’t believe it. Yet again another situation where I left unhappy with how getting food here went. When I got home opened the food bag I had ordered some onion rings and there was four in there… I remember the last time I ordered the same thing there were definitely more….very inconsistent and at this point I don’t even want to come back which is a shame because the food is good....
Read moreThis is more of a review of their staff/experience, rather than their food, which is great and pretty tasty.
Came in to grab lunch to go on a Monday afternoon on 11/06. Waited over 10 min to get my order taken despite being one of the first few cars there waiting for my turn. As things got a bit more busy with more cars arriving around me, I continually was ignored by the current staff member (an older woman) who was the one taking orders despite her knowing that I’d been waiting. I made eye contact with her several times as she walked to different cars and she still continued to go to other cars around me to take their orders.
A van actually pulled up next to me and after she was done with a car across from me, she went directly to say hi to that person in the van and take that van’s order right next to me. It also appeared like she may have known that person in the van as well. She then continued to go to other cars around me for their orders next, and then when she finally acknowledged me from afar and told me she’d be with me right away, she goes up to my car, sees another car a few spaces away who were also waiting to put their order in (and had actually arrived after me as well) she immediately asks that car if they’re ready to order. She then proceeds to tell me she’ll be with me in a second and goes to that other car to take their order. She did not even wait for a response from me or apologize for the long wait. At the end of it all, she was not the one who took my order; it ended up being a young man.
The experience that I had today with that older woman (I was not able to catch her name before I finally got my order placed) was horrible. I felt completely dismissed and ignored by her to the point where it felt very much intentional. I would hope that she doesn’t do this to anyone else. I understand that things get busy here, but at the same time people should have their orders taken in a way where it is based on who got there first. And instead I felt that she purposefully ignored me or prioritized other people, perhaps people she knew, before me. While waiting for my order to be delivered, I saw another young lady taking orders and wanted to just say I appreciated how she approached a situation the appropriate way by asking the two cars who both just arrived who...
Read moreClassic Drive In fast food experience. The atmosphere is great, though the servers need rollerskates! 1950's music playing in the background, friendly informed staff made ordering fun, and for mid August the flowers around the property were beautiful. And that's just the beginning! The food was great. The Double Baconmaster was delicious, fully loaded sans Jalepenos; though they would have added a great additional layer, my partner requested their exclusion. Will order again. The Dungeness + Swiss Melt (on grilled sourdough) was a favorite, and had us recalling a similar sandwich enjoyed at a Giants game at Oracle Stadium. Mini Burgermasters and a Chicken Finger combo for our littles were, and I quote, "fantastic, stupendous, exciting, and unbelievable." We rounded our meals out with an order of onion rings (with Boom Boom sauce - so good, need a gallon jug for sale asap), and 4 shakes: S'mores (the seasonal flavour), Mint/Hot Fudge/Oreo, Root Beer/Oreo, and Banana/Butterscotch/Oreo. Oreo is a popular flavour amongst my family, obviously. There are a ton of flavours to pick from (some not on the menu like Mango, so be sure to ask), and you can mix up to three for some amazing taste combinations. First time visitors, and we cannot wait to enjoy again. What a great place to eat. Know going in it is a bit pricey, but not outrageously so. $75 to feed a family of 5, including 4 large milk shakes and one side. It can add up quick, but we thought it was worth it. Highly,...
