Riverbend Loop Trail — Attraction in Mount Vernon

It's a path behind the Mount Vernon Walmart. The "trail" starts as a long, paved path with homeless people sleeping in the wall of trees on one side and a retaining wall on the other side. It's not safe to walk by yourself, even during daylight hours. If you look through the wall of trees (where the homeless sleep), you'll see a tree farm. Sh* trail. Garbage everywhere. There’s about a 1/4 mile paved trail behind Walmart and the turns toward the side of the building and then around a water retention pond, which had garbage and grocery carts in/around the pond.
