Best Cuban Sandwich I’ve had in a long time! I got the sandwich, chorizo taco and steak taco and I’ll be honest… I didn’t have high hopes for the sandwich so I got the tacos as a back up but I was wrong! It was all great! When the plate arrived I was like… I knew it! Everything looked a little on the smaller side… I hit the tacos up first… single tortilla on what might of been made in house or locally sourced because it all held up with no problem and they were perfectly toasted but still soft at the same time! The meats all well seasoned and tasted fresh. Let’s not forget about the sauces which are a must… both creamy and just enough spice. I suggest putting both on… you won’t regret it!!!
Up next was the Cuban sandwich… the bread was perfect… toasted just right and also taste freshly made. The pork was just the right amount and seasoned to perfection. Inside the sandwich was finely chopped cabbage, tomato, light mayo and white American cheese… just like the bodegas back in the day! And of course… both sauces on the sandwich made it even better!!
All in all I’ve had my eye on this place and I just so happened to be in the area at the time and I do not regret my visit one bit. It’s a small family run operation and I honestly felt my food was made with love and care which is hard to come by these days. I didn’t get the feeling my food was thrown together with cheap ingredients and over priced.
I will return to try the rest...
Read morePlease make sure you ask what comes on your order before ordering at this place. Their papa fritas con carne on their menu literally says French fries and meat only. It does not state there are onions, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, cheese, and whatever else comes with it, which is stuff we do not eat here. We expected french fries with meat only, not all this extra stuff. I also ordered an adobada sandwich with no mayonnaise and they put mayonnaise on the sandwich. Then when you call them to fix the issue, they want to say they're closed (10 minutes before actually closing), tell you bye, and hang up on you. Also, the guy at the register only cares about being on his phone instead of paying attention to people while they order. Very unprofessional. Just please be aware before ordering...
Read moreAmazing Mexican street tacos! Have gotten them several times and always good quality and fresh. All the meats are good but chorizo is my favorite. Made on a corn tortilla with the meat, cilantro and onions and comes with sauces and limes. Their new Birria tacos are also great, really tender meat and come with a side of meat juice but only available Saturday and Sunday. Tried the Huaraches for the first time today and probably my favorite item from the menu. I got Chorizo but I'm sure all the meats are good in a huarache. Highly...
