Target — Local services in Muhlenberg Township

went in to buy a Tv and the customer service was so horrible I could of SWORN I was on a prank show. so we tell this young man we're interested in buying the tv and he tells us the one that we're interested in is in fact the display television unit and he has no box for it. Soooo he knows I'm interested in purchasing the tv yet he just simply stands there staring back at me... at this point I'm confused ... are u trying to finalize this sale or not ? He says I don't even know where the remote or stand is I'd have to look in the back then continues to stare at me. so I'm thinking are u going in the back or what idk what he needs to tell me about what he has to do just go do it. So guy still isn't moving so I'm like go get your manager. Then the "manager" Tish proceeds to tell us she has to look in the back okay so go do that why tell me!? 20 minutes later neither of the employees showed back up to let us know what's going on. So I went to customer service in target and the "manager" Tish says on the walkie" it didn't take that long and when she came back out she couldn't find us." That's a blantant lie because my boyfriend was waiting there with the tv while I tried to talk to customer service about the issue and the rudeness of the employees. My boyfriend joins me in the customer service line frustrated. He says let's just go and the "customer service" woman proceeded to tell Tish "nevermind" as 2 customers walk out of the store with no purchase made. wow that's all I can say about this target and...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Go to target in Wyomissing instead cause Muhlenburg’s target never has more than 1 checkout open. I decided to leave instead of making a purchase because the wait in the one checkout was taking way too long. I came in to buy one thing but that wait wasn’t worth it. Was going to use the self checkout but was told it was card only. Not everyone uses cards. the attendant in the self checkout wasn’t busy so the checkout could have been set up for cash and they have used cash in their self checkouts before. Just the company being lazy because they have to get the cash out for you there. If you want self checkouts to be convenient for the customer and not have associates to run the registers than you should be able to use both cash and card. I usually love shopping at this location. Last night however (2-22-19) the store looked like a bomb was set off inside the store to try to save it from a zombie apocalypse. Empty shelves and racks throughout the store. Clothing strewn all over the floor as well as empty hangers, umbrellas, empty boxes and trash. There was one register open, one very long line and no attempts as far as I could tell to get anyone else on register. I was in line for 20 minutes, so I think that was plenty of time to at minimum get one other person on a register. Usually employees here will ask if you are finding everything ok, and help you. All I saw was employees complaining to each other standing around doing nothing but complaining about what they were supposed to be doing.
