V & S Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Muhlenberg Township

We always went there since intels sandwich shop closed in laureldale/which was a long time ago. Sandwiches were always great, UNTIL lately. The last ones we bought/ cheese steaks sandwiches were ok except very light on the meat and their prices are getting higher. I know with this virus stuff meat prices have gone up, but if your going to charge more then fill the bun up with meat. The first 2 bites were bread. We decided to go else where and try another old favorite near by. Sorry v&s but I don't want to just eat a bun with sauce, I like meat with it too especially when you charge close to $20.00 for 2 sandwiches. 6/7/25, I read a review from Cole Strauss complaining about a Italian sandwich he bought there. He said there was so much meat, that he had to reconstruct his sandwich, and build another one with half the meat. Why, in the world would you complain about having TO MUCH meat on your sandwich. There must be something wrong with this individual. After all, to much is better than not enough. That must be his issue. Update, maybe i should have got a Italian sandwich today 7/12/25, because I ordered a large cheesesteak and a medium bag of chips. $15.89. I was VERY disappointed. The sandwich hardly had any meat in it. The ends of the sandwich had NO meat in it, none!!! I'm done with this establishment. I can throw a spoon full of meat and cover it with sauce i a bun at home. 1...

V&S makes great sandwiches. This is the only sandwich shop that I will order a cheese twin burger. Nobody can compete with their cheese twin burgers and their pizza is slamming too. It's Sicilian style with a great flavor to the sauce and they also make a round thin crust. Many places that serve Sicilian pizza is too dry but not V&S. You can buy the Sicilian pizza by the tray for 20.00 which us a good deal. They have a decent sized menu and everything I've ever ordered has been excellent with good portions, especially the french fries. One order of fries is enough for 2 and maybe even 3 people. Whether you call in ahead of time or order in, they are fast to fill your order even during their busiest hours, and most importantly they get the order correct. Many weekends like today we'll order a ton of food for the night and just stay in to watch movies and stuff our faces. The owner Barry is awsome and always keeps this shop clean and keeps all his ingredients fresh. We've been coming here for years and will continue to do so...

During my Lunch break on Tuesday July 15,2025 I came in to order my daily sandwich when I noticed a older women who came in with some individuals with disabilities to order food. The girl behind the counter Kaycee was not only rude to the customer but to the individuals who were there not only did she cause a scene but the manager was standing next to her and didn't say anything. The lady walked out without getting her food this establishment needs to really train their employees and realize that all individuals have a right to eat and be where they please. If you see this review don't get anything from this girl she is so rude and really unprofessional. To management this is not the only time she has done this she needs to be fired asap sadly I will be mentioning this to my friends who have family members with disabilities to not eat at this...
