Okay to start, me and my group of four friends enjoyed a fun game of mini golf. Afterwards we wanted to enjoy some cool ice cream, after a hot round in the sun. We walk in and instantly we were given rude looks and attitudes. Mind you there were about 5 working young women, behind the register. After we ordered our ice cream, we found a booth by the back and all sat down. Now there was this heavier blonde young lady, who "said" she was the manger on duty, and was staring us down. I looked and she was on a FaceTime call, during work hours, showing her phone camera towards us. My one friend waved at her, knowing we were being filmed, and she gave him the middle finger behind the desk. By this time we knew there was an evident isssue she was having with us four personally. One of the guys I was with, goes to school with her, I was told afterwards. Next thing we know, She comes over to our table demanding us to leave and told us we were trespassing now. We all stayed sitting while she was standing yelling at us to leave. My friends told her we did nothing wrong and we were paying customers trying to finish our ice cream. Then she proceeded to call us nasty names and saying she didn't like the one friend we were with, from high school drama. My sister told her how she was being inappropriate and she continued yelling and causing a scene in the Ice Cream Shop. We now left, eating outside at our cars instead. Next my one friend and I go into the Resturant Side to buy a couple waters, we knew better than going back into the Ice Cream shop. The heavier "manager" girl followed us in and started to apologize to me and my one friend. We did not say a word to her and she left then. Now to describe this young woman, long blondish hair, heavier, about 5'8-5'9. This all happened tonight, August 23rd around 6pm at Shells in Temple, PA. All of this took me off guard, I've never seen such disrespect from a "manager" all because of high school drama. I hope HR looks into this so that no one else has to deal with that inappropriate disrespect. And maybe she'll take this time to learn about appropriate customer service. I do have a video, but it won't let me upload, so I'll just upload a photo of her instead.

Fantastic restaurant and mini golf course. I'll start with the food. The menu is very classic American food, but the prices are very good. I got the Ranchburger combo and a chocolate milkshake. Other than the fries needing a little salt, everything was excellent. The mini golf course was fun. It had 27 holes which was an odd number, but it took a good amount of time. One of the ball scoops broke and in a part of the water that was not see-through, so we lost a ball. I also do wish some of the holes were more interesting like the lighthouse hole. Still worth doing it though.

Great food and atmosphere! All the workers are friendly, prices aren't bad, and the food is all great and always consistent. 27 hole mini golf with waterfalls, nice landscaping and outdoor tables where you can sit and eat while watching the golfers. I recommend the Ranch Burger with their signature sauce, also the cheese cubes and bbq. Stop at Dairy Swirl next door after your food to grab some ice cream, hard or soft, Italian ice, milk shake or a sundae.

I have been visiting this place frequently since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I have to say they serve the best tasting hamburger I have ever tasted in my entire life hands down Beats even Gourmet Burgers something about the simplicity and the taste that is just truly amazing. Cheese cubes, BBQ, hot ham and cheese, fried chicken, hot dogs, barbecue hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, everything you would want from a good burger joint. The day this place closes is the day I lose faith in all of humanity. The world needs more places like this. You can tell just how good this place is when right up the street is a Dairy Queen and it is always empty and when you drive past shells it's packed. The ice cream joint next door is another tasty treat. Great people, great environment, and the smell when you walk through the door is the kind of smell that makes your mouth just water for tasty goodness. The miniature golf course is fun and has remained the same since I've been a youngin. McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, if you're going to these places over shells there's something wrong with your taste buds. If I had one complaint about this place it would be that they changed the french fries now the good thing about this is really the only thing that changed is the shape they still taste the same but after going to this place for almost 30 years I have not one complaint and every time I set foot in this restaurant it puts a smile on my face. Thank you shells for not changing a thing, if something's not broke don't fix it. Best burger...

Ok It was semi clean. But the ice cream store. Icecream was ok. HOWEVER they went from registar to ice cream. No gloves n never washed hands. I wont go back. Now the restaurant. NOT A FAN also semi clean. Soup im almost 99 percent sure NOT HOME MADE. Hot dog was ok. No sourkraut, No chilie🤪. Weird but they offered barbq something for it. Im sorry it was awful n tasted terrable. There small fri came in card board but seemed to be the same as combo meal but those came in a little bag and very close to over done. Im sorry but the owner needs to address food and handling food. I also cant be positive but bathroom was clean...HOWEVER i saw a big guy from kitchen come out of the bathroom and im not sure but i dont know if he washed his hands i can only hope. But how i saw how they handled the food next door i wonder. But i will say that they were all very nice especially the order taker in the restaurant smiled at ever customer and was very nice. I personally wont go back 7nless i had to. I feel bad because im sure they struggle but its not hard to address these problems and its not hard at all to make some quick good tasting homemade soups. Again im almost positive it isnt, but if it was man they would need a new person...
