Totally ridiculous I had a totally wrong dinner order and I was told no problem they would replace it and I mentioned that I lived in Hartford City, Indiana and it was a little after 9:00pm and raining and they said no problem we close at 10:00pm so just get here before then and we will take care of it for you no problem. I drive the 35 or so minutes back into Muncie and arrived at exactly 9:50pm and I informed them I was the one with the replacement order and they guy at the speaker in the drive they just says “We are Closed”. I again mention I had a replacement order and he ignored me so I pull out and over to the gas station and call to speak with a manager about having me drive all the way back in here to Muncie during a storm telling me that as long as I arrived before 10:00pm they would take care of me and when they answered it was the same drive thru guy and I explained once again I had a replacement order and I was told that as long as I arrived before 10:00pm they would take care of me and he said “Your speaking to a manager and I told you were closed and plus you have 30 days to get your replacement order wilhich is the first time I am hearing this now and I travel back and forth to Alaska regularly so this is a issue now. This is the second time this has happened and last time they told me they couldn’t find my name and that since I didn’t have the receipt there was nothing they could do. I will be contacting the Corporate Headquarters at this point because this will now be the third special trip I had to drive back into Muncie from Hartford City and another night I go without a dinner for the third darn time and for me to do EXACTLY what they told me and arrive by 9:50pm well ahead of the 10:00pm closing time and then to be treated so rudely to his is absolutely unacceptable by any means! I am shocked at the treatment and the callousness shown by this male “manager” along with the way he spoke to me was totally unacceptable by any means as well! Corporate or a Regional Manager should find it imperative to contact me at their earliest possible convenience and do what is right in all 3 of these situations these situations. Driving sn hour round trip multiple times and having 2 20.00 meals NOT provided to me that I paid for and the over 3 plus hours of being so rudely jacked around someone might want to contact me and make this right as this is bordering litigation and small claims court. Read moreThis had to be one of the worst experiences I've had by going to a restaurant in a very long time! Took forever for us to get our food, and in fact the lady that came in 5 minutes after us got her food 10 minutes before us and left the restaurant with her two children. When my food finally arrived my $10.99 coconut shrimp platter was served to me on a small styrofoam plate with barely any amount of fries, the Corn was cold and tasted dirty, then they serve me a tiny amount of shrimp and every one of them were burnt beyond the ability to be able to eat them. When I went and complained and asked for new ones, then they served me undercooked coconut shrimp. I noticed also while biting into these coconut shrimps that they still have the intestinal Trail inside of the shrimp that in good shrimp is removed. I'm going to include two pictures to show you what horrible experience it was for me to go to this restaurant. I would not recommend anyone going to this restaurant to eat, and would suggest going just around the corner to Captain D's if this is the quality of food that that establishment is going to be sending out. The restaurant staff was fully aware that that was unacceptable for them to send that food out, but yet they did it anyway, and if they could give a s* less about the quality of the product and the quantity properly matching the price that you're paying for, then don't waste your time going to this restaurant for a good seafood experience when right around the corner Captain D's will provide you just that! I used to be a die-hard Long John Silver's fan, but my last two trips to this restaurant have been poor, and I decided to finally review the location this time, as the last time I did not want to give a negative review to one of my favorite restaurants hoping it was only a rare thing that was occurring but I have discovered that it seems like this is general practice for this establishment. Read moreThe food was ok, but the young lady working the counter was more interested in closing tasks. We didn't realize they were closing in 20 minutes. 1st, she was reluctant in giving us cold mugs for the rootbeer and told us,ok but you have to put the mugs in the tub when your done. This was said in a tone that you might use with a disobedient child.As soon as we sat down with our food, she came by our table to ask if we had sauces because she was taking them because they were closing. Ok, I understand that. What I didn't understand was she closed and broke down the beverage station as well without saying anything so we were unable to get a refill. A man with his family at another table went up to the counter and asked if he could get her to refill his drink from the back since the station in the dining room was closed. She told him,very unapologetically, it's closed too. We shut them down at 5 minutes to closing. Well, I worked in restaurants for 25 years and I know she could have put a nozzle cap on and refilled his drink with very little trouble. Better yet, she could have let customers know that she needed to shut them down and given everyone a chance to get a refill. These people didn't realize it was closing time either. I like Long John Silvers but I will not be returning. I can spend my money somewhere that appreciates their customers.
