Server acknowledged us and was polite. However as a previous server, I found some things rather weird. As a server, I always approached the table with silverware. Introduce myself and ask about drinks and appetizers. I'm not bragging, but just follow along, because I would like to have a better experience.
After taking order for drinks and appetizers, I would attend other guest and rotate back with drinks. Then ask if they're ready, answer any questions, even after offer deals and make them feel comfortable about eating where they're eat. That didnt happen. Kinda felt we ruined someone's day.
Upon my routine check up and greeting other guest, I would then check on food for each tables food and give everyone a reasonable wait time. Get them to laugh or talk with each table. Ya know "interacting with guest". I mean I'm not at a dine in casual fashion restuarant. I'm at BDubs.. This is supposed to be exciting. I felt again, that we were at the wrong place.
Your restuarant does team work, which is amazing. The food was brought out by different people and it showed team effort.
However!!!!! Even though it is not my table, I would ask if anything else is needed, then apply myself to let the main server know or make my rounds, an get back with them (guest). You have team work, which is great, but the food was brought out separately. Then we had no silverware to eat with. I normally eat with my hands, I mean it's ginger foods. However I had no napkins to wipe my hands or face with. Which was a problem!!! So that blew my mind. I mean at least some small wipes.
I felt our server did not have the urge to be there. She did her job, but I felt as if she didnt want to be there. Or that she cared about her job. As a dedicated server (12+ years), I can say that I have never seen such poor quality in the service. I feel maybe the morale is down or maybe they just want to be there. We tipped well, but we have never tipped lower that $10 regardless of the bill, because we (Madderz Famiy) know how tough getting only 2.13 an hour and depending on tips is. However I just felt they were there for the money, an not the journey. Each job may not be long term. However it has a journey, that we all experience and you should enjoy the day.
Food was amazing. You guys havent lost your touch. I just would like the service to be better. I am not trying to get anyone fired. I just would like to share my honest opinion about what we experienced. I feel they can do better. Maybe next time we can get the next server.
To BDubs, Keep your food amazing. To the servers, I know it is hard to serve. I have been in your shoes, but smile and put some energy in your day. You be surprise how your energy going in can return back to you..
Remember it is never a bad day, if you experience something that alters your world. It is only a bad moment. Take Care BDubs...
Read moreThis was the worst customer service and service in general that I have ever received from this place. I placed an online order for pickup a day before at a specific time. The next day when I got there I asked them if my order was ready for pickup. I was told that they never received my order because they were having computer issues. The waitress then told me she would take my reorder over the phone and put it on top priority since I was already suppose to have had my food. Before I made the order I asked her how long it would be and I was told 15-20min. I agreed for her to replace my order and she hung up. I waited 35 min before I called them again to check on my food. I spoke to a different waitress who seemed to act like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I explained to her about my food that was suppose to have been picked up and ready by 4:30pm, but my order was apparently never received, so it was placed as a reorder. The woman then told me she would check on it for me. I was placed on hold for a few minutes then she came back and said my order was still being made and that instead of me calling again they would call me when my order was ready. At this point it was 45 min after I was told my food would be ready. So I hung up the phone and waited in my car for another hour. At this point I was tired of waiting so I left and ordered wings from somewhere else. I ended up waiting in my car for an hour in a half, and NEVER received a call from buffalo wild wings about my order. So I wasted not only my time, but never received my food. I understand it was a busy day, but this was inexcusable behavior from the team considering they had my phone number, name and order because I called multiple times. I will NOT be ordering or eating from here again. I also had my receipt on my email as well.
I wanted to edit my post from above. I ended receiving a call from the manager who apologized for what occurred on that Sunday. They offered me a free credit to make right what happened. I am very appreciative that not only were they swift with communicating back to me but called me personally to handle the situation. Thank you very much. I bumped them up to 3 stars...
Read moreI've been here before but not to this location. It's exactly what you would expect from a large nationwide chain restaurant. The food and the drinks are pretty much the same as any other location but on this particular visit, we had a party of 25 to 30 and they only assigned us one server. I felt sorry for the poor girl. They did have two hostesses standing around doing nothing unless people were walking in the door, so one of them could have been running non-alcoholic drinks and refills. Probably just mismanaged.
The food came out a little bit at a time by runners who didn't know where anything was supposed to go. It didn't help that half the people at the party couldn't even remember what they ordered when it was being yelled out. Someone asked one of the staff if we could open up the garage door on the end of the room because it was getting stuffy and they told us that it doesn't open. The look on their face was priceless when one of the other people said that it does open because it was open the other day when they were here. 🤣 I had ordered 10-piece traditional bone-in wings with blue cheese. I had to choose ranch because they were out of blue cheese and when everything showed up, the wings were really dry and overcooked and they also brought me an order of fries that I didn't order and then at the end of the night charged me for them anyway. I didn't mind paying for those since I ate them. My wife ordered a chicken club sandwich, which surprisingly came out as ordered, considering all of her food allergies. However they did not bring her any fries because they said they are cooked in the same oil as onion rings (one of her allergies). Clearly the manager did not communicate properly that it was okay, as long as they were not cooking at the same time. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't usually frequent large nationwide chain restaurants and apparently I now remember why. I understand that having a large party with only one server can definitely sour the experience, but that's a management problem and that's going to trickle down into all the other staff members. Hopefully your experience...
