I am not one to leave reviews but this experience was horrible. We frequent I-Hop 4-6 times a month and sometimes multiple visits during any given week. When we got to the restaurant no one was at the front. We stood there for a minute before someone came to greet us and take us to our table. 10 minutes went by before the hostess came back to the table to take our drink order because our server was busy. Once she returned with the drinks, we asked is she could go ahead and take our order because we had yet to see our server. A few moments later, the server came by to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything. It took 30 minutes to receive our food. The food was cold and the eggs on one of the plates were cooked incorrectly. It took another 10-15 minutes to flag the server down to request the correct eggs and another 15 minutes to get them. At this point, we were done eating and ready to go. Turns out, there was one server working the entire restaurant. I overheard our server telling another customer that she was the only server working so she was serving, cleaning and busing tables. Our overall visit was 1 1/2 hours and this was in the afternoon, not during a typical busy time like breakfast or dinner. Management really needs to work on staffing and if they are not adequately staffed, they should be there assisting. Needless to say we were very disappointed in this visit and it will be a long time...
Read moreI visited this location on 12/16/23 around 11am. It was very busy but we were seated right away. Food looked really good. The issue came when I watched the young lady helping out server, take out food to TWO different tables, sit it down and only picked it up when the people told her it was not their food. After the second time doing this, she brought the food to our table and set it down like it was nothing. I asked her was this the same food she took to two other tables and she said yes. Then went on to say, "but they didn't touch it. I promise." I told her it was not just about touching it, right at that moment, someone at one of the tables started coughing really hard. And I just looked at the lady. My server came over and apologized and asked if I wanted them to remake the food. I said yes but the food was remade because 2 minutes later, they brought it back. I asked to see the manager who had been walking around the whole time until I asked to see him and then I never saw him again. I really hope that restaurants will train their young staff about food safety and not just let anything slide. I was a regular at IHOP, but this will probably be the last time for a while. Very disappointing because the food looked good but unfortunately, I couldn't eat it after that. I called a few days later to speak to a manager, but again, no one was available. Just train your staff, servers included, on food safety...
Read moreFood was awesome, that's about it. Host completely skipped my wife several times, not people being paged either completely skipped her in line. Thankfully Karol on to gos helped us get a table. Then the host had a complete attitude issue with her fellow coworkers and customers. It was mother's day so I understand it's stressful and busy but was still unprofessional. The table was hardly wiped off, underneath was not swept prior to us or hardly at all and felt incredibly greasy, it marked up my shoes pretty good. Waited almost 5 minutes or more just to be greeted by our server, and she was clearly disinterested in helping us. Orange juice was warm and tasted horribly acidic, you could taste the lack of cleaning in whatever container it's kept in definitely don't get the OJ Server didn't pick up dishes as they emptied and never came around to give any refills. We could see the server (who only had 2 tables) leaning and talking while our cups were empty. Even the manager wasn't greeting customers or checking on tables, he was just leaning and chatting. You could tell most of the issues problems come from the top down. We've worked in restaurants majority of our adult life and it was clear there was a lack of concern or care. They seemed to just want to get through rush, even on a day where it should be expected to be busy (mother's day) Probably...
