I have driven by this place thousands of times. Having sampled their burger at the Murfreesboro Burger Contest a few weeks ago and enjoying it I put this place on my dining agenda to enjoy a meal there.
Interesting set-up, resembles a normal hotel breakfast bar area with a bar included. They have a large selection of beers along with various liquors. You select your burger based on a plastic menu where you check off the options you want with a marker and turn it in to the bartender. I selected the beef burger with smoked Gouda cheese, sautéed mushrooms, onion strings, and spicy chipotle mayo, for a side added the crispy onion strings with smoked Jalapeno ketchup (yes…I love onion strings). The burger served on a Brioche bun was cooked as requested (medium) and was thick and juicy…unfortunately what it wasn’t was very flavorful. With the options I selected for the burger you would think it would scream flavor. The Gouda didn’t taste smoky at all (unlike at the Burger Contest), the spicy chipotle mayo wasn’t spicy…but did taste a bit of the chipotle, and the “onion strings” were instead onion petals that were frozen. If you love onion strings on your burger…these aren’t even close so I would 86 this from the option list. The side of onion petals were the same and tasted blah…didn’t finish them. Basically an OK burger and a cold beer…nothing exciting where I would want to come back.
The service provided by Gretchen was awesome and she took great care of me. I discussed with her how different the food was versus what I enjoyed at the contest and she said she would let management know. Overall…IMHO there are much better beer and burger options in M’Boro, especially for an overall cost...
Read moreFood was very good BUT that’s it. The service was horrible. The waitress we had was very friendly but she didn’t know much in regard to waiting tables or adult drinks. I asked for Grand Marnier and Dr. Pepper. Waited about 10-15 mins before being told they don’t have GM. Ok. I order Rum Chata on the rocks. Another 10 mins goes by and the F&B mgr comes to the table with waitress and advises they typically have an open bar but for whatever reason don’t at the moment. So I asked for Kahlua on the rocks. I finally get it after about another 10 mins. The drink would’ve been fine if the glass it was served in didn’t come with lipstick stains on it. Oh, did I mention that no orders for food have been taken? Yeah. So the orders finally get taken. What I ordered for appetizer is not available 🤦🏽♀️ Of course it’s not! That would make too much sense. My friend ordered an Arnold Palmer and the waitress asked for his id. SMH...They bring our food after another 10 mins. The food was great. That’s the only reason I could give any stars. The fact that their spirits are limited and the fact that they didn’t even have food listed on the menu or the fact that I had someone else’s lip stains on my glass, they could’ve at least not charged for the damn drink. We won’t be back. It was...

The cheesecake, however, was severely lacking. It was...
