Placed an online order today. The website was pretty easy to pick and choose what you want on the sandwich. Arrived at the location at the time that they said that it would be ready only to wait an additional 15 minutes. While waiting I watched the process for building customers orders, and to say that it was chaotic would be an understatement. The sandwich makers were crossing into each other's path. There was no semblance of an assembly line and then the sandwich was dropped off on a table with about a dozen other sandwiches with what kind of sandwich it was scribbled on the wrapper. I saw about a half a dozen sandwiches have to be unwrapped by the order assembler because they couldn't understand the scribble. The assembler would the sift through all of the sandwiches to build the order. This process could be improved greatly. Once I got the order I was even less impressed. The Philly cheese steak had almost no meat and very few vegetables which made it tasteless. One of the sandwiches had mayo on it even though I marked no mayo on the order and the chicken noodle soup had once piece of chicken in it. The other two sandwiches were satisfactory though. Needless to say we will not be going there again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love subs. Iām Usually not picky with them because hot sandwiches are difficult to be made badly.
The service was super slow (15 min wait) but I try not to judge because there was only one cook. But it was a little frustrating for sure. I told myself all good, the food will be good.
Got my food. Pic included. I ordered the BBQ chicken cheesesteak. It comes with cole slaw, crispy onions, bbq sauce, provolone cheese.
This was the most bland sandwich I ever had. The chicken was the only other distinguishable ingredient (and it felt super light on meat. My first bite was purely bread, which is good bread btw) I couldnāt taste any bbq sauce, I had three bites that had cole slaw, and I didnāt taste any onions or feel their beautiful crunch in my bites. Pretty light on cheese too.
All in all, never ever going back to this place in any of their locations. Iāve had subway in the middle of nowhere Idaho and it smoked this sandwich.
Do yourself a favor and go to the east coast subs thatās right across the parking lot. I stared at that place regretfully as I waited for my god...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay, so I saw the advertisements from Capriottiās advertising 25% more meat. Honestly, I did not plan on going back because there was so little meat on the sandwiches the last time I went there.
As you can see from the photos, there is not much meat on the sandwich. Yes, it is more meat than before. But honestly, it is nothing like when I first went to Capriottiās years ago. With all of the inflation, Iām sure they are trying to find ways to keep the price down. Also, they probably do not want to reduce their profit margin. Consequently, they no longer have a standout sandwich.
The photos they use in their advertising have the bread smashed to make it look like they have more meat in relation to the bread. But when they first opened their store, they used to take out some of the bread because there was so much meat!
The people working at the store are fantastic! The atmosphere is really nice. Overall, it is a solid two stars because of the portion of meat. After finishing my meal, I actually left the restaurant a...
