Hello Boba — Restaurant in Murray

I have been here multiple times when I go to the mall and they have always made it good. But, today I asked the owner if they had popping boba and she excitedly said yes. and so I asked for it the girl that was making it forgot to put it in my first drink for my sister and i ordered again with the same popping boba and she forgot about it again. But, this time I told her I asked for popping boba she started having attitude and told me i never asked for it which I clearly did. Raising her voice at me for simply telling her that she forgot to add my popping boba. the owner told me that she didn’t know. It’s their job to communicate the orders and have a nice costumer service. not mine to be telling the person that’s making my drink...

I got a taro boba- it was delicious but the ladies filled the cup with ice. Like, 100% full of ice. So what started off as a decent priced boba turned into mostly ice. My hypothesis- it’s because I didn’t tip. When the lady doing the cash register saw I clicked on “no tip” she called to the lady making my drink, who was doing the ice. I’m of the opinion that tips are for extra service- bringing my food to a table or my house, not for doing the basics of making what I just paid for. So, be aware of the ice scam here. I think $7 is a little much for a cup of ice sprinkled with milk...

At first, I was completely put off because there weren’t prices listed. I immediately felt I was going to be overcharged. I asked the sweet lady for prices, and she obliged happily. It was the most I’ve ever paid for a boba and I’ve drank them all over. Even on Waikiki Beach they weren’t so expensive. So, why 5 stars? The brown sugar milk tea with traditional Boba was the best boba I have ever had! It was so good I am considering going back tomorrow before I leave town! Good job, Hello Boba.
