Hong Kong Express — Restaurant in Murrieta

We got small portions in our catering food trays-- they did not fill all the trays entirely. Where most Chinese food restaurants that I've ordered from fill the party trays to the brim, HKE did not. The portions for the food trays were small. The orange chicken trays and broccoli beef trays were not filled all the way. We also got less than 1 cup of peanuts on the side for our kung pao chicken-- not enough. We ordered for 50 people, and they gave us a small bag of fortune cookies. The Chinese food is good. But as a black American I don't get the freshest food ask the Caucasians. I get the meat that has hard spots that is not even edible. When I see the Caucasian man getting the best pieces of meat and when I come through it's a different thing and this is not the only Chinese place that does it. That's why I don't like eating at Chinese restaurants because I feel as a black American I'm not getting the best foods and quality of service like the Caucasian man. Came at 12pm on Saturday; Was The Only Customer but Was Greeted Right Away! I've been here once before and Loved the food and the good prices; spent right under $15 for the 3 item combo plus rice n chow mein; and a Mandarin Jaritos included. Well worth it!
