Mega Tom's Burgers — Restaurant in Murrieta

I am so disappointed and bummed to leave this review. This place used to be so good with customer service, cleanliness and price.

Food-food is really good here!! Very savory, their CharChicken supreme is totally worth the price and good. I always order my kids their kids cheeseburger meals and add lettuce and tomato to it!

Cleanliness- this place is always clean!! I have been coming here for over 20 years!!

Customer Service-was an absolute fail tonight. I ordered my usual kids cheeseburger meals through drive thru, and ordered my usual Char Chicken Supreme burger combo. The gentlemen sounded new, and because of that I repeated the order to him, he confirmed that my Char Chicken burger came with "all the toppings" and even slightly annoyed. We get our food, I drive home and my Char Chicken sandwich only has lettuce and tomato.

At this point, I figured the guy through drive thru mistakenly made all the burgers the same. I called them up, and let them know I would be driving back bc my order was wrong. The lady over the phone said I had to bring this one in before they could fix it. (Completely understandable)

I drove back, and the cashier Karina says they charged me for the wrong burger, and if I wanted the correct one I had to pay the difference of $1.70. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I told her I would NOT pay the difference since this was THEIR mistake and my kids food was getting cold at home because of their mistake. (My kids were in the car waiting for me). She scoffed, spoke sarcastically to the cook in Spanish about how I refused to pay the difference and rolled her eyes.

I then spoke to both of them in Spanish, and told her she was so rude and it was the principle of the matter. She then handed the cook my burger, and he said he would reheat the chicken and add what was missing.

This is where I absolutely said no, 20 mins had passed and that bread was soggy and I was there bc of THEIR mistake. The cook threw the burger away and made me a new one.

The cook then started throwing buns and cooking utensils around, I guess to show me he was mad!?

All in all they fixed my order, however it was handled in such a poor way. It is such a bummer bc I had been coming here for over 20 years. I most definitely will never be back. Don't bother spending your money here where there are other Small businesses way more deserving of your hard...

As someone who works in the food service, the service here absolutely appalls me. When using a drive through you expect to just get your food when the food is ready. This is not the case here, I ordered two items (you’d think it wouldn’t be that difficult to bag and give to the customer right? Wrong.) While ordering, I asked the employee to repeat my order to me she sighed and her demeanor changed to very rude, I was already done with this place after she became so rude. I pulled up to the window after ordering and watched the girl who took my order laugh with two other employees, seemingly doing nothing whatsoever. I watched her bag my food. And after bagging it she went back to laughing with her co workers with my bag of food in hand for an inappropriate amount of time. When I tried confronting her about it after she said they were just taking an order. I would absolutely LOVE to know how to take an order without a phone, why it takes three people to take an order, and why laughing is a part of taking an order as well! When I called to speak to the manager I was hung up on six times by a girl named Bailey (whether or not this is the girl who I had met before or not, I don’t know). When I was able to speak to the manager he was no better than his employees, which is a real bummer. If I was to do this at my work, I would’ve been fired so fast. But, I guess the establishment I work at has...

THE BEST EVER!! Mega Tom's on Madison!! The wife and I have been living here in Murrieta for over 15 years. We have always gotten "food to go" at the places closest to our home. That gives us a very limited range of food items to select from. Actually after eating the same food from just a few places, nothing seems to taste that good. For a multi item menu Farmer Boys has gotten really terrible and has a very limited menu The food quality is about 5 out of 10 and service about a 3. No one in line but you go in the drive thru and you still have to go park the other side of the building and wait for your food to be walked out to your car. Food cold by now......... terrible! We decided to give Mega Toms a try! This place is unbelievable. A great menu with hundreds of items to pick from. The drive-thru is quick and efficient . The food steaming hot and great quality. One of the reasons we never went there was because its farther away than all the other closer establishments.. But their food is still very hot by the time you get home. This place knows what their doing. The drive thru line moves fast. Skip all the others. This place has most anything you could want. Great quality food and service. Drive - thru fast and efficient. Food hot and its delicious every time!! Their bowel of chili is the bomb!! I get that...
