If I can give zero stars I would. This is the worst place to order Pizza. Dominos has always being our preferred choice however we decided to try something different for my daughter birthday. I went to the store to order Pizza Friday at 6pm to be picked up Saturday at 1pm. The customer service guy told me they could not take an order from someone like me at that time and I should come back at 8pm as he will prefer to take care of others superior than me. I asked why should I come back to order Pizza when I have been in line waiting for my turn. He then rudely took my order and intentionally scheduled pick up for Sunday instead of Saturday. I knew right away because I was African American and he preferred for a black woman not to order pizza. He stated is because of who you are. The next day my husband went to pick up the Pizza to be told is for Sunday. They almost ruined my little girls birthday party as my husband had to wait for two hours go get the Pizza ready. They just did not want us to buy the Pizza due to our race. This Papa jones has very poor customer service, descriminate with racial intention . We will be filling a complaint with Papa jones corporate for unfair treatment and discrimination with a racial intent. Beware people of color avoid this papa johns Pizza. Racism still exist in 2022,...
Read moreI called to inquire about pizza prices and if Poppa John's offers Veterans discounts. I was advised that a 40% discount was offered. Later on I called in a specialty order for 2 large 2 topping pizzas advertised at $20.99. The person I spoke with, Arianna, said she couldn't find that deal and that it may have been an online deal only. I asked how much the same order would be with the 40% veterans discount. She said $24.99 she then advised me there was a better deal for $21.99 without the Veterans discount. I accepted the deal. Later I began trying to figure out how much a large 2 topping pizza was and how much 2 of them would be with the 40% off. The only price I could find online at the California Oaks store was $13.99. I figured if I bought 2 at that price the amount would come out to $27.98. Applying the 40% would bring the subtotal to $16.79. When I called the store to inquire about this, Arianna said the actual total would have been $40 with the Veteran's discount. Long story short, something just doesn't...
Read moreAll I can legitimately say is that food quality and portions have been greatly reduced while prices have greatly increased (not surprising). I ordered a Papa Bowl with double everything and was charged for it, but what I received was nothing more than two slices of pizzas' worth of toppings in a baked bowl. I was still very hungry considering. Was not the first time I had this happen, and even explained why I was ordering double. The cashier did not understood and only said they can only give us toppings by measurement standards corporate gives them. I said you charged me for double but then didn't produce double. Another...
