I don't always go to Starbucks, but when I do, I go to Starbucks at The Orchard! So, today, as I was driving through the line to pick up my app order, my van died, short of the order station. I tried to restart and it started and immediately died. I knew others would soon be in line behind me. I put it in neutral, jumped out to push it. A very nice lady pulled in behind me, seeing my dilemma, jumped out and started pushing as well. Then employees from Starbucks and the other businesses adjacent in that building, pushed me up to get my order, then pushed me out to the parking lot to wait for AAA. They didn't have to. I got stranded in the parking lot after realizing I forgot my car keys at work (an hour away). I was stuck waiting for a long time for my spare key, so I came into Starbucks to use the restroom and grab something to eat. As soon as I walked in, the baristas greeted me with a smile and asked how my day was going. I told them it was terrible, and explained the situation. Instead of just nodding and moving on, they went above and beyond, they showed me so much kindness and made sure I was taken care of.
