Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream - Muscatine- Lake Park — Restaurant in Muscatine

It's always family friendly. We went to my nephews birthday party there on 1-21-2022. The staff was amazing like always. But the pizza was cold as if it was attempted to be stored in a warmer for quite awhile and then left on the counter much too long before brought to our table. In the arcade, 5 of the 9 games were down or faulty. I was sad watching my little girl being excited to run to game after game only to find out they did not operate properly or at all! It tears a man's heart out to see your child crushed. I gave 3 stars because I know how this place used to ran. The guy who built this legacy would be very disappointed in the management. We made the best of it and still turned frowns upside down. But, the part that struck me, my 6 year old was ready to leave fairly early into the party. :/ Come on Happy Joe's, you can do better. I've seen it and would love to see it again.

The pizzas were good when we finally got them but we had to wait close to an hour for 1 large and 1 medium pizza. They were not busy at all. It was a week night, Tues or Wed I believe. It was my sister and her husband's anniversary and my mom's birthday. One of the staff voluntarily came up and told us we would get 10% off because we had an anniversary in our party. We asked, "even with a coupon?" He asked and they said yes. To make a long story short, when they were ringing our pizza and pop order up a different person told us we would also get that discount if we paid separate, which we didn't want to do, but we did, and we still did not get the 10% off....good pizza, was it worth an hours wait, No, the whole discount thing that never transpired was a huge hassle. Enjoyed spending time with the family but they need to get some better knowledge of their policies and faster cook...

Love Happy Joe's Lake Park location! However, tried ordering there this evening at about 7:15 p.m. to have pizza delivered was going to be I am sure at least a $40 order and they refused to deliver to my location and I understand that they have two different locations but this is the one that I prefer the pizza is different and I've been ordering from them and had it delivered many many times, but tonight for some reason they refuse to deliver to me. I've been eating here since I was a child 35 years ago and today I am extremely upset that I am not getting to enjoy my favorite pizza place.😪 It's a shame that your employee felt the need to deny me service because of my location even though it always gets delivered here with no problems until tonight. So I guess after 35 years I won't be ordering from you...
