This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway, and frankly, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered anywhere. My family and I specifically visited this location because of the Happy Gilmore 2 cup promotion. We had already tried several other Subway locations that were sold out, so before ordering, I asked the staff directly if they had any cups left. They clearly said yes, loud enough that both my wife and mother heard them.
After we ordered and were at the register, we were suddenly told they were out of cups. When we explained that we had just asked and were told otherwise, the staff denied ever saying they had them. It felt like they were more interested in avoiding accountability than addressing our concern. Instead of apologizing, they doubled down and publicly claimed they never said what we clearly heard.
To make matters worse, during our visit I also noticed one of the employees handling food without wearing gloves. That is an obvious health and safety concern, and it added to the overall sense of carelessness and unprofessionalism.
Despite how we were treated, we still paid for our food and chose not to cause a scene. We tried to be the bigger person in the situation but left incredibly disappointed, not just by the lack of the promotional item, but by the blatant dishonesty and poor customer service.
Because of this, I will not be returning to this location, and unfortunately, this experience has turned me off from Subway altogether. Promotions only work when they are backed by honest service. Very...
Read moreWe came into this Subway hoping to pick up the new Happy Gilmore promotional cups. It was a small but meaningful thing for our family—my husband, who was a professor and attorney, had a soft spot for the humor of Happy Gilmore. We recently watched the sequel together as a family in his honor. He passed away from cancer not long ago, and my son and daughter-in-law joined me in rewatching the movie as a lighthearted tribute to a man we all loved deeply.
When we walked into the store, we asked if the cups were available and were told yes. We placed our full order, but when we got to the end and asked to choose our cups, we were told they didn’t have any. When we explained that we’d just been told they were available, we were loudly accused—right in front of other customers—of lying.
It was embarrassing, hurtful, and honestly shocking. A little kindness and honesty would have gone a long way. We paid for our food and left, but the entire experience left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. I hope this feedback encourages the team at this location to treat customers with more care and consideration going forward—especially in moments that may mean more than...
Read moreMy girls went there over an hour before closing. Google and the door hours posted are 10 pm close time. The staff was rude/disrespectful, rushing them out before 9:15pm and highly annoyed that someone would come in expecting....sandwiches.
The sandwiches were sloppy, yet extremely simple to make. They were going to order cookies, but they were rushed to pay and leave before they could.
Your entire job is to make sandwiches. If you are that unhappy and in a hurry to get out of your scheduled hours...go find a different job that you will find more enjoyable so you can understand what it means to work in an industry of customer service. I'm sure there are plenty of other people who would willingly work there and be grateful they have a job and income.
"Treat people the way you would want to be treated." If it had been the employees ordering instead, I imagine they would have been irrate to be treated the way they acted.
Service was awful. Do better. I also couldn't even eat my sandwich because it...
