I came into get an order of 10 BBQ wings and Chilli cheese fries with extra cheese. The order was a little wrong. The fries came with extra Chilli and hardly any cheese. I instantly came back and explained my issue. Due to my chronic illness (Gastroparesis) I couldnt have the extra chilli. They told me it was going to take 10 mins, so I asked if I could just get a refund. The cashier said, "No, we can remake them." I apologized and stated again I would prefer a refund. She repeated, "We can remake them for you." I asked if they dont do refunds and apologized because I didn't see a "No refund sign" posted anywhere. At this point another woman stepped in (She had long brown hair and an accent) and showed me where their no return policy was. It was a tiny sticker stuck to the side of the glass where NO ONE CAN SEE IT. (I have pictures). It was BACKWARDS. She ADMITTED that they hadn't fixed it since they changed their counters. I giggled and asked, "Are you serious? This is your No Refund sign. Where no one can see it?" She instantly got very sarcastic and passive aggressive with me. She replied, "We haven't fixed it because I thought it was silly to. We have never had an issue before you." She was extremely nasty after this and couldn't understand why I preferred a refund. She continued with "Are you having a good day. Do you need the money?" Then the order came out and IT WAS WRONG AGAIN. I asked if they could fix it. The woman replied, "Oh sure. Maybe I should redo the menu to help out." In an extreme passive aggressive way. The woman then left. I told the cashier that I was sorry and that they had gotten my order wrong a few days ago aswell, but I let it go cause I understand it happens, but this ordeal was ridiculous. As I was leaving I heard the cashier say something under her breath so I did turn around and asked her to repeat herself. She asked, "If the order was wrong why did you even come back?" I decided to return the food and just let them keep my $25. THIS CASHIER WAS THE SAME WOMAN WHO TOLD ME A FEW DAYS AGO SHE GOES TO DADDIOS FOR ICE CREAM CAUSE ITS BETTER THAN THE ICE CREAM THERE AT GiGis PIZZA.
It's very sad to me this happened. We have stayed at Sandy Beach every Summer since 2016 and GiGis Pizza was the place we go to eat when we just want to stay in. I will pay extra delivery from any place before I ever get food from their again. And I will make sure everyone and anyone knows about this experience. You forgot to mention that POLICE MADE YOUR MAN TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOU IN FRONT OF TOO MANY CUSTOMERS AND HE WAS APOLOGIZING FOR ACTING LIKE THIS and APOLOGIZED FOR YOU As well! Since you guys were on vacation we didn't want to ruin it and didn't press any charges, which WE COULD! All we did was RESTRAINING ORDER what so ever!
Exactly 9 minutes after you placed your order you RUDLY DEMANDED your money back even though food places DON'T do exchanges neither refunds!!! Other customers were PATIENTLY waiting on theirs order to be completed. The lady you was writing about: she didn't complain,she politely asked. We did let you know that it will take 35 to 40 minutes so you did have a choice. On questions WHY do you want money back while you food was being cooked you COULD NOT explain but were making up stories! Drink next to register, bag of chips? Cup did have a lid and there is nothing wrong about it because nobody's food was NOWHERE near( it's a cashier counter) and nobody was eating out of that bag because we didn't have time for it! About GLOVES: right IN FRONT OF YOU gloves were taken off so we could proceed to take your order! Right BEFORE making food we used BRAND NEW gloves. So you wrong at this point!!! Nobody yelled at you! Also Man WAS NOT cooking, he was up front taking orders and dealing with you! NEXT: IT'S AGAINST THE LAW TO TALK BAD TO OTHER CUSTOMERS if you dislike something!That's EXACTLY what you did! We POLITELY asked you to wait for your food and just leave! But you DID NOT stop there! The order was made CORRECTLY so you wrong again! We provided him a receipt which he later threw into me!!! There were no extra charges for whatever you wanted! HE was cursing in front of females and KIDS! (Which does explain a lot about person) One of the customers even told your man to STOP! (Luckily you were gone). Store has cameras and did RECORD EVERYTHING so you wrong again and again! Oh, yes, I highly doubt that that you recorded something because you guys were not holding your phones! About "jacket full of dog hair". First of all it's ridiculously funny lol! Second, None of the customers allowed to bring any pets inside and NONE of the employees has a pet at home just so you know! Third, that was a scarf but not a jacket!

Read moreIm writing this review about a year late. I was just catching up on reviews from my past 2 vacations. This situation still pisses me off till this day though because there was a fly in my daughters food and how rude the first person we met was.
We were at the water park next door but they dont really have anything good so we walk out and wee this place. We were going to walk in and a guy that works there told us quite rudely "No, no. Cant walk through that door with no shirt on". He was walking in after us and I was holding the door open for him. I just said ok went back to put on a shirt and came back with my family. I understood the shirt and shoes policy. Most beach side places dont care but this one does. No problem except for the way he spoke.
Than we order from this young lady, she was nice, no problem there but when we get our food it was disgusting. I ordered loaded nachos and the nachos were soggy like they had been sitting there. ALL of our food came in to-go containers even though we were dining in. It looked like they ordered the food somewhere else and had it delivered. THAN there was a dead fly in my daughters food. I wanted to raise hell but instead I grab the container with the fly in it, slid it onto the counter and pointed at the dead fly. I did this so I wouldn't disturb the rest of the patrons. He didn't even say anything to me. He grabbed the container and through it in the garbage under the counter lmao. Then the waitress came to tell us our food was free as if I was going to pay for this meal anyway. NOOOO apologies. None! They seemed to want us out of that restaurant as soon as possible though. I wanted to call the health department on them but I couldnt bring myself to do something THAT extreme. I understand S* happens.
