Mar 2025 - TIP: Just learned this location does not honor app offers or any coupons or discount codes. I know the Target locations also do not honor but this location is a standalone retail store in a mall. Workaround was to do the order and pay in the app while standing in the store. In this case, a $3 beverage deal--didnt find anything for $3 but was able to apply to my total bill in the app, actually purchased 2 coffee drinks. This location does not honor the free refill policy either. The time before this visit, had ordered an iced coffee and there was so much ice, I sucked it down in two sips. Lol. So stingy!
Oct 2024 have visited this location twice in Oct 2024, and was excited to reintroduce myself to the Starbucks brand. I installed the mobile app and became a rewards member. My first order included a turkey panini sandwich which I brought home to eat. The sandwich tasted like it had been made days earlier. One edge of the roll was stiff and dry as if it had been overcooked in a microwave. The turkey was less than half of one slice, less than half the length of the roll. The turkey was grey and tasted off as if it had gone bad. I decided not to complain because I had gotten a pricier beverage for free using an offer in the mobile app. I returned a week later for a small cappuccino and an apple croissant. The cappuccino, advertised as an 8 oz drink, held probably 3 oz of liquid including foam, was watery and had no espresso or milk flavor. The foam even tasted watery. The paper cup was chintzy and felt hot, not like their regular cups--too small to fit the cup protector. When I complained to the barista, he seemed irritated with me and I was told, to paraphrase,"... that's the way they come." While he did add a little bit of regular coffee to my drink, the cup was still less than half full, still watery tasting. Also, I was somewhat insulted since I've been a Starbucks customer for over 30 years and have had plenty of their small cappuccinos. The apple croissant was tasty but was two bites, like a small muffin. On this trip, I also discovered that a BOGO coupon that was supposed to be good for a month had disappeared from my mobile app. I did contact customer support a day later and they said the second coupon had expired, which was crazy because I only had the app for a week or so. Read morePurchased a coffee mug at a Target Starbucks in Myrtle Beach to give as a birthday gift yesterday 12/15 . The recipient of the gift noticed the lid was broken so she went to hwy 17 MB to exchange it however they wouldn’t do it so she went to the Mall store to exchange it but they said no , not without a receipt. It was a GIFT !!! They had the exact same coffee mug and still refused to accommodate her with a new mug . This is poor customer service . I’m a retired store Co. Manager of 30 years and a total 45 years of being in management level position so I’m appalled that a $10 mug was refused for a simple exchange. I purchased a gift card as well for my friend. You need to reprimand your manager at the Myrtle Beach Grand Stand mall for not taking care of a customer and not being very friendly either. Needless to say I will no longer give gift cards or your retail gifts any longer. My business will be done at Dunkin Donuts from now on . I keep my receipts therefore my friend will be making a trip to the target store for an exchange in hopes this store manager will...
