The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar & Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

Let me start by saying when they get the order correct and you don’t have to deal with nasty attitudes the experience would be so much better. Last week we went and my goodness we had the worst experience ever. I was called a Bi$)! by a employee and told to leave the store by the manager after they were totally in the wrong. The owner Bo sent me a message and stated his employees were definitely in the wrong and apologized. He also shared with us how he handled the situation and offered us back to the store. My family and I remember Colten from the Market Commons location. He help with our order when we returned he definitely did an amazing job. Well today 4/30/23 my daughters wanted to go back were locals and would visit a few times a month. We were greeted by one of the nicest young ladies. When we arrived at the counter the young lady was absolutely clueless on taking orders we pointed out the items we wanted in the showcase 2 slices of the 6 layer chocolate cake, 1 scoop on non dairy vanilla with a chocolate chip cookie on the bottom drizzled with caramel on top, cotton candy milkshake and 4 chocolate chip cookies plain. The called my name and the order was INCORRECT! The lady that I will post thought it was funny the manager on duty walked over and said well this one is my fault then walked away. They gave us the wrong cake then gave us the correct 2 slices. I walked back and asked the young lady that took my order if she understood what I asked for she said yes but there’s no way!Minutes went by and she was standing insight pointing and we heard her say they’re looking at us well duh! We sure are because we’re waiting on our other paid item. She starts laughing and walks to the side I told her nothing is funny because it’s not we paid for something and we would like to have it. We encountered very similar behavior last week the employee in the wrong and laughing. We still don’t have our order the manager disappeared. Finally I ask again and another staff ask what was the order I repeat it AGAIN! All while this is going on another customer returned her order because it was incorrect and a gentleman that was before us was still waiting on his order. Customer service is the key a simple apology when you screw up goes a long way instead of laughing. I come to visit my family that lives up here once a year and I always come here when I'm up here. Last night I got the Have Your Cake and Eat It Too crazy mason and it was amazing, I loved it. But I'm mainly writing this review to recognize the staff, as there was a long take out line and people coming in to dine in, the older lady in the blue shirt came out from the back to help out the two waitresses and she was so friendly. The waitresses on were the younger girl with the pigtails and the older lady with gray hair and glasses. All three of them were the definition of team work. Even though they were clearly understaffed, the three of them worked together amazingly to make sure everyone was taken care of. And 30 minutes before they closed a party of 15 walked in to dine in...all staff handled everything exceptionally. This place is amazing but severely understaffed for the amount of people that come in and amount of work they have to do. Rather than this, it was pretty expensive. To get your ice cream in a mason jar it costed an extra $3.50. My cousin and I both got a crazy mason in a mason jar and it was $43....crazy expensive for two people 😭 but it's amazing so I honestly can't complain about the price, I think it's worth it. They just need more staff, I felt for them and that was only a small glimpse into what their day...

Went here for the 1st time on Thursday April 3rd 2025 with my mom and Dad. If you love ice cream, you'd come to the right place! Loved all the ice cream decor around the restaurant! They have milkshakes, big sundaes that one can take home a mason jar with, just ice cream with lots of flavors such as cotton candy, birthday cake, chocolate, cherry vanila, strawberry, and they have more flavors than that! Plus lots of toppings too! First we entered, and waited for a host to sit us, then once we were sat, a server helped us by getting our order and serving us the ice cream. They have a lot of dessert selections.was looking at the cotton candy sundae, but felt like it was an overload on sugar, which most of the items on the menu are. I decided on a Cotton Candy with gummy bears. My Mom got the banana bread sundae, and my dad got a banana split with 2 triple chocolate and a cherry vanila ice cream. Waitress was great and asked if he wanted all the toppings on the sundae, like a cherry, whipped cream, and fudge. Overall enjoyed our ice cream, as it tasted fresh and delicious!
