I didn't get a chance to read the reviews I was actually told about this place when I picked up my rental car in Houston!! We have great Italian spots in Houston so when this was suggested I had to find out what they hype was about. Let me just say this I walked in the door and was seated right away I had time to assess the menu for a few minutes and ordered within minutes my waiter Danielle was awesome by the way!! My food was served very quickly which concerned me I'm used to waiting awhile but my concern quickly went away when I took my first bite. I had the chicken parm ❤️❤️❤️ it was perfect I also had the lemon basil dip for my bread as an appetizer ❤️❤️❤️ this place did not disappoint me I was stuffed. But then my awesome waiter Danielle came back and offered dessert I was stuck between choices she recommended the tiramisu I was like sure I'll go with it omg 😍😍😍😍 it was melt in your mouth delicious 😋 Danielle came back and asked if I needed a to go cup or plate this girl was a gem 💎 she was awesome 👏🏾 the food was awesome the atmosphere was awesome!! Thank you auntie pasta I will definitely be back!! The first restaurant I've been to where the atmosphere was nice and people actually spoke to me. I won't even discuss the horrible treatment I received from the restaurant next door!! Thank you for making me change the way I felt about nacogdoches! Also a plus 15% of the proceeds are going to be donated to the Houston Harvey victims I came on a good day!! I may be eating here all...

I'm not from Nacogdoches. The guy at the city visitor center recommended the place. I was a little concerned it might be a "Tourist Trap". I can't say it's not, but I can say I'd gladly go back. The atmosphere is casual and fun, but nice enough for date night. The table of ladies next to us were a bit raucous ("girls night out I guess"). We had the "shrimp wonton" appetizers. They were not what I expected, but they were very good. I'd recommend them. I had "Mama's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp". It was very good. My son had some kind of combo platter. It was very generous and apparently very good. (He didn't share!). One of my pet peeves is restaurants with lousy beer selection. Auntie Pasta's has a reasonably good beer list including some local brews. If I recall, the beers I had were from the Fredonia brewery. They were decent beers, but more importantly, I had the opportunity to try a new (to me) and local brew. Our experience would have been awesome if it were not for the wait. It took way too long to get our food. Maybe if I wanted to drink more (like the ladies "next door") I wouldn't have noticed. Our waitress apologized for the long wait. She told us there were only two cooks in the kitchen. It was a Tuesday night. My dinner was also not piping hot (my son's was). It may have had to wait on his! If I could give half stars, I'd probably take half a star away for the wait. On the other hand, if it weren't for the wait, it might...

Ordered food online for curbside pickup at 11:30am today for 6 people. I live approximately 15 minutes away. Just as my daughter was getting back home from picking up the food I received a phone call from your restaurant saying that a sandwich we ordered had been left out of our order, they just removed it from the oven. She did apologize, and said we could either come pick it up or get a refund. Well we needed the food so our family member could have something for lunch, so my daughter drove the 15 minutes back into town to pick it up. We waited until she got back to unpack the rest of our food order to begin eating all together. Now we realize that he did not receive the side of pasta salad he was supposed to get with the sandwich. I call back up there and ask for a manager, she asks my name and puts me on hold. She comes back and says she will just have to tell the manager what I wanted because they are not available. I explained the situation and she was about to say we could come pick up the side order and I told her I lived 15 min away and I wasn't making a third trip. The manager evidently was too busy to speak to me, but they need to make sure someone is checking the orders going out. Food was good as usual, but service was horrible. Will not be using curbside or takeout...
