A disappointing experience turned a great smoothie bad. Let me start by saying my smoothie was delicious and if there was a different location in town, I’d be back at least a few times a week. However, the experience itself was a garbage fire. When we first entered, we could hear a woman in the back loudly cussing. Not a problem for me personally but still unprofessional. She stormed out of the back and announced she was going to get food before leaving. The girl who took my order was nice enough, if unengaged. I get it, we all have those days at work. Her coworkers were the issue. I made my order and stepped to the side to wait as the cashier checked out a few other people. She had multiple orders so she called for help from a guy in the back. She had to call him repeatedly and ended up practically yelling before he came out to help her. The girl who had stormed out came back sans food and began helping as well. But they weren’t helping make orders initially, the were washing blenders because every single blender behind the counter was dirty. As the three workers were slowly (but somehow also frantically) washing dishes in silence, tripping over one another, you could cut the tension with a knife. It took a while but we eventually got our orders after a bit of confusion over who ordered what and quickly left. Maybe there’s some drama between coworkers—I don’t know and don’t care—but it should not leak out onto customers. The drama of it all made for a really...
Read moreSmoothie King of Nacogdoches, count your days. I came in today to pick up a smoothie bowl I had ordered on the app (Order #156), and the experience was beyond disappointing. When I arrived, the bowl wasn’t even prepared—it was just sitting out on the counter, untouched.
Worse, the employee on shift didn’t greet me or anyone else walking in. She ignored customers completely, including myself. I ended up waiting an excessive amount of time, despite ordering ahead, and when I finally got the bowl, everything was melted. It might as well have been a soup. The açaí, the chocolate, the cocoa, everything had liquefied into a sad, warm mess.
To top it off, the employee just placed it on the pickup counter without saying a word—no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and certainly no care for presentation. I was disturbed by the complete lack of professionalism and customer service.
I ordered this for my mother, who just had chemo, hoping to give her something nourishing and refreshing. What we got was unacceptable. If I had caught that staff member’s name, I would’ve reported her directly to corporate.
Smoothie King, do better. This location needs...
Read moreI've literally never had such a horrible experience as I just had with this kid in glasses. I show up for delivery pickup, he hasn't made the drink yet (everything's fine) I didn't have my mask so he asked me to wait outside (still fine) but he let's me know he won't bring it out so I have to watch from the window for when it will be done, then 20 minutes goes by 4 others served and I go back inside to be told he hasn't started because there was no order (after already confirming it). After arguing for a moment he finally finds it and sends me back outside so he can make it. After another 10 minutes and others being served, I walked back inside, its not where he said it would be, he points at two drinks on the counter and says it's one of them, then ignores me when I try to ask which one it is until I had to be loud. The part that angers me the most was he was just going to let me stand there all day and not even make the drink my girlfriend had already paid for. They won't give me any contact information for the manager either. This is the worst place I've ever...
