Craving authentic Italian, it was late evening on a weekday, but though I called close to closing, the restaurant was so accommodating, I explained that I was doing this after a loved one had been in the hospital all day after her husband had a stroke, they didnt have any of her favorite "lasagna " but they recommended the Chicken Parmesan meal...to the man who was working that evening.. thank you, it was 2 large chicken cutlets, plenty of sauce, noodles a fresh, filling salad with Italian dressing on the side ,and at my request a nice size portion of garlic toast.. I arrived 15 minutes after I ordered directly with the restaurant ( which I recommend, so much easier, and better than online impersonal ordering) it was bagged and waiting for me at my arrival.. the employee, whom (I think was possibly the owner?) greeted me friendly (though it was close to closing,) He was so kind, gracious, answering some questions, and didnt rush me out ,which I appreciate as well... and the food, well it was consumed with much gusto" and very much enjoyed, there was so much she even shared.. it tasted delicious, was hot, was very flavorful, the chicken wasn't to breaded nor greasy ..as can happen with some I've had at other places.. she is looking forward to another meal, and after sampling I can say I am as well.. next order will be earlier, for I am looking forward to trying lunch to go..and prices are comparable to any other restaurant, and dinner was priced well, especially getting enough for 2..which I probably wouldn't share,it tasted that good".. a definite go to if you've not tried yet, and remember could be closed during the holiday, so get in there while not so busy, and to the owners, and staff, thanks for a wonderful meal, and great customer service! 5 stars for sure..I look forward...
Read moreLet me tell ya, this place ain't your ordinary Italian eatery. They serve up some serious authentic Italian grub that'll make ya feel like you're in the heart of Little Italy. I'm talkin' about homemade sauces that'll make ya think your nonna cooked it up herself. Whether you're into spaghetti, fettuccine, or rigatoni, these guys know how to nail that al dente perfection. And the flavors, they're like a symphony in your mouth. The marinara? It's so good, you'll wanna swim in it. And don't even get me started on their creamy Alfredo sauce—it's like a gift from the pasta gods.
These wise guys also whip up some mean chicken and veal dishes. And let's not forget about their homemade meatballs. These guys know their way around a meatball, I tell ya. They're juicy, flavorful, and just like your grandma used to make. Pair 'em up with some of that homemade marinara, and you've got yourself a match made in heaven.
Now, I gotta give a shoutout to the ambiance. It's got that classic Italian vibe that makes you feel like you're part of the family. The walls are adorned with pictures and the music playing in the background will have you humming along like Sinatra himself. The service? Impeccable. The staff treats ya like you're a made man or a classy dame, making sure you're well taken care of throughout your meal.
This place is the real deal when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine. The flavors are on point, the atmosphere is top-notch, and the experience is like stepping into a Scorsese flick. So, do yourself a favor and pay these guys a visit. You won't be...

Don't buy the cheese steak Long wait times even if you're the only one sitting in the parking lot. 45+ minutes sitting in parking lot even after calling ahead. Told there was a 4 person occupancy limit, not sure if that's true or they were just trying to get us out of the store. Still obeyed it but I've seen places a familiar size with 10+ allowed.

Life Story: This place use to have some of the best cheese steaks and was an OBX favorite. I don't know what happened, but they removed all the different cheese stakes from their menu and only left an overpriced, tasteless cheese stake with soggy chips and a drink. 2 years of eating amazing cheese stakes from this place gone without a notice. Someone else left a review like mine and you couldn't even say why the cheese stakes were gone. I asked in person and I got no attempt at an answer. Half of the reviews on this page look fake, all 5 stars, no owner response, and they all have reviewed the same businesses. All I really want to know it why the cheese steaks were taken off the menu?
Finishing thoughts: I can assure that this review will either have no response or a response talking about something completely unrelated to the main question of what happened to the cheese steaks. I will amend my review if I'm given a reason...
