FLAVOR, FLAVOR, FLAVOR! It isn't often that I'm really impressed by how intense and flavorful dishes are at a restaurant, but WOW! they really know how to create combinations of savory, sweet, and sour to really light up your palette! The guacamole was delicious, my sister thought it was probably the best she's ever had. It has bold lime with a nice hint of chilies seasoning that really made it pop. The Aguachile Verde was a completely new experience for me, lime-cooked-shrimp with chunks of avocado and a sauce bursting with flavor, served with a side of nice crunchy tostadas. The shrimp isn't your typical orange cooked shrimp, so be prepared for a different look and mouth feel, but the taste was incredible! My sister had the Berries and Cheese Salad with mango dressing (sadly they were out of chicken, but she thoroughly enjoyed it as it was) which she thought was amazing and said she would order ahead and pick it up and on way home from work in the future. I washed it down with a lime Jarritos which really tied all of the lime flavors together. The serving sizes were great, we both left full and unable to finish everything, even the guac! The waitress was very friendly and down to earth - she even asked what our preference in music was since we were the only ones in there at the time. The atmosphere is pretty chill, the music was pretty loud, but I think they were gearing up for the evening crowd. I think this is really a hidden gem for Nampa and the Treasure Valley, I haven't heard of anyone else offering a menu that specializes in food this fresh, prepared in-house, almost all GF/V, with almost all of it being ceviche (lime-cooked) instead of heat cooked! Come for the flavors, they...
Read moreWe were craving some ceviche or Aguachile Shrimp and found this cute little place, we were greeted and welcomed right away which is a plus in my book, The Aesthetic is so fresh and minimalistic with a lot of natural plants. The food, wow! first of all it is beautiful presentation, making my mouth water as soon as I saw it, I got the Mango Ceviche and the tropical savory flavors were * chef 's kiss. My husband is very picky about his aguachiles and was skeptical but he absolutley loved the Aguachiles Negros. I also had the Concha Sandwich for dessert and that was very good also! The only thing that was a bummer is they didn't have any kid friendly options but their target audience is most likely younger, but hey us parents like to unwind and have a drink too, hopefully they will add something I'm the future. They were kind enough to get some outside food...
Read more¡Me encanta Calle! The owner and her team are kind and friendly. The food is delicious, the ceviche con mango is my go-to...so flavorful! I also appreciate the transparency with ingredients on their menu (vegan & gluten-free options!). Bilingual karaoke on Thursday nights is a fun, low-pressure blast. Calle is a super chill vibe to hang out with friends & family. Definitely worth the drive from...
