Canary Books — Local services in Nampa

This is a small and cozy used bookstore with very helpful owners. I enjoyed browsing their selections and being able to buy a few books at a time, because the price is right. The owners were happy to answer any questions I had about different titles. They have a kids room with a lot of readers, chapter books, graphic novels, etc. They have little cushions the kid can sit on while they flip through the pages of a new book. They also have mystery packages where the books are wrapped with a description written on the outside. We stopped into this bookstore on a cross-country roadtrip and it did not disappoint! The selection is amazing and I was super impressed with how many newer titles they had in stock, and all of the books I looked at were in very good if not great condition. The shop owner is super friendly and ready with book recommendations (and we seem to have similar taste!) which is always appreciated. I honestly can’t say enough good things and I’m only sad that we don’t live closer...

What a cute and fun used book store! Everything is very well organized and marked, I found a few fairly new releases that I had been thinking about, and at $8 a piece how could I say no! Most everything is in gently used condition, and I say that with love as someone who is highly picky about their used items. I will definitely be back, and will look out for their future events...
