Happy Teriyaki - Caldwell Blvd (By Lowe's) - Nampa, ID — Restaurant in Nampa

Super annoyed. I called and placed a to-go order. The woman (Deb or Cathy?) can’t remember her name but she was an older woman, was very rude and rushed me off the phone. Told me our food would be done in 10 minutes or less. I got there in 10 and paid. The young girl working the register was super sweet. I waited about 10-15 minutes and watched the older woman walk back and forth past our order at least 10x. Finally, the younger girl got it ready and brought it to me. As she was handing me the food, the older woman reached down and physically grabbed my son as he was running towards me from another kid (4 feet away.) For some reason she felt it was her place to grab my kid and publicly scold him in front of the entire restaurant. I am the Mother, he’s 2 and trying to entertain himself while we wait for her to be rude and ignore us. I was so pissed, I just walked out with the food and my kid. After getting him in the car and chewing on the experience, I’m more pissed off. I managed fast food and never dared grab a customer or their child. Because of the sweet young girl, the place gets A star, but I will never go back. That woman is lucky she didn’t get hit for grabbing...

I was buying groceries at a store, when I was approached by another shopper. I was wearing a company uniform. He asked me about some of the services our company offered. He was wearing a Happy Teriyaki shirt, so I asked about his company. He invited me to go give HT a try. I was hungry so I stopped by this location after buying groceries. I’m glad he spoke to me and extended an invitation. Happy Teriyaki is a fast and healthy on-the-go option for some tasty Asian American cuisine. I ordered a chicken stir fry. The chicken, noodles and vegetables were freshly blended together with their specialty sauces. I asked about some of the other menu items and was given some samples to try. The potstickers were really fresh too, which is appreciated considering some places have a tendency to over cook their potstickers. The sauce meant for dunking the potstickers was incredible too. As I was eating, I spoke to one of their employees about her current fitness goals. It felt great to receive exceptional hospitality, but to also interact with their staff on a personal level about something good and important in her life. Thanks Happy Teriyaki for this great...

I've been eating HT at various locations with the one on Ten Mile and Franklin being my favorite. I recently ordered $70 worth of food at the nampa location and they had the nerve to charge me for sauce packets! I've never been asked to pay for sauce packets at any of the locations. They will always give you a few packets free, but not this location. I spend $70 and they can't spare a couple of sauce packets.😁👎👎 If the guy (whom I'm guessing was the franchisee) had any idea how important competent customer service is nowadays when businesses are fighting for your $$$ he would have just gave me the sauce packets for free (Like the other two locations I go to in the valley.) Last time I ever go to this location, EVER!! Oh don't forget the tip just for ringing up the order! WHAT A JOKE! I got a frown when I didn't tip. I figured the $70 I was spending was sufficient since all the guy did was take my money and hand me a bag with NO extra...
